David Morgan : The fundamentals for silver have got better not worse

David Morgan : silver has not done anything but getting better fundamentally , the global financial system has never been in a more precarious situation that where now it is , and because of that fact people are uncertain of what to do and during the time of uncertainty they go to the one asset class that is absolutely certain that has no confidence or trust issues and that is Gold and Silver

Huge Gold sell off in Gold Market , buy buy buy

David Morgan : the Gold and Silver communities on the physical side are not afraid of this they are stepping up in the plate and are buying more physical metals , they are buyers buyers and more buyers says David Morgan , although it may take up to three month according to him for gold to repair this loss and go back to the 1900 level

David Morgan : we may see some softness in Gold before we see strength

David Morgan : we broke out of a traditional triangle pattern , I get emails saying that technical analysis does not work , first of all technical analysis dopes work some of the time , it is a tool but it is helpful , and we broke through the bottom side of this symmetrical triangle which normally is bearish for gold and as I said few weeks ago there is gap at the 1670 level I am not rolling that out longer term , I still believe that we are still going to see a a bit of a tough sliding for gold

David Morgan : The Ten Rules of Silver Investing

David Morgan : Ten Rules of Silver Investing 1. Why silver, Why Now? 1. When all else fails, there is silver. No one likes to be a prophet of doom, but the simple truth is that silver is the world’s money of last resort. Should a severe economic collapse occur, leaving paper assets worthless, silver will be primary currency for purchase of goods and services. (Gold will be a store of major wealth, but will be priced too high for day-to-day use.) Thus, every investor should own some physical silver-and store a portion of it where it’s accessible in an emergency. 2. Start small- keep it simple. 3. Boost the buying power of your dollars with mining shares. 4. Dollar – cost average to lower your costs – and increase your discipline. 5. Do not get a raw deal from your dealer. 6. What’s yours is yours – so keep it that way. 7. Silver speculation’s like cough syrup- good in small doses-- But too much can make your portfolio sick. 8. A little information can mean a lot more dollars. 9. Collecting silver is an art- but not really an investment. 10. What percentage is the correct amount?

David Morgan : Silver Explodes Under Hyperinflations

David Morgan : You can rest assured that silver will catch up to Gold at some point in the future , there is not anything on the planet that compares to silver as an investment to protect yourself during a hyperinflationary scenario , if we have Inflation silver is the way to go , we could see the gold to silver ratio widen more up to 50 before we will see silver catching up to gold,

David Morgan : Gold is not in a bubble it is the debt Bubble

David Morgan :"..... I mean, the view I have is that it's not gold that is in a bubble. it is the debt bubble. it is the increasing of the burden of government's printing more money and that's the real problem. gold's reflecting that reality. so, i think the current case is that the united states finally got the message with the downgrade by the s&p to a lower credit rating and i think this is going to be put some stimulation you might say into the political system that may actually cause some action to take place. if the u.s. can get the debt house in order, i think you'll see some leveling off in the gold price. if that doesn't occur, you probably see the opposite

JUNK SILVER vs. .999 FINE SILVER - DAVID MORGAN

Investing in silver. Junk Silver or .999 Fine Silver? By David Morgan. junk silver is the easiest way to get silver for cheap and it doesn't carry a premium price like Silver Eagles. Just go buy a few dimes.everyone should own a mix of junk silver. I have nickels, dimes, quarters and dollars. I'm looking for more small denomination junks silver for a SHTF scenario and need small barter money.I buy junk and 999 fine, they are both winners.Diversification is good idea even if it's just in your silver. One point many stackers miss is the need to 'make change'. If all one has is 1 oz. and the other one 'say's sorry no change' and one really needs the product one leaves money on the table. Also the distinction between .999 and .9999 is lost on most people. If the price is 1 oz. most people are going to shave some off and give it back to you if it's .9999. They'll just say tough @#$!.

David Morgan : Silver is the worlds money of the last resort

Silver guru David Morgan of the Morgan Report on the Financial Sense Newshour 08/12/2011. David compares the more volatile silver market to the apparently more stable gold market , Silver is the world's money of the last resort , should a severe economic collapse occur leaving paper assets worthless , silver will be the primary currency for purchasing goods and services , Gold will be a store of major wealth but it will be priced too high for day to day use , every investor should own some physical silver and store a portion of it where it is accessible in an emergency .....

David Morgan : Gold Stocks are not Gold they are Stocks

David Morgan : Gold Stocks are stocks they are not gold , If you have weakness in the general equity market gold stocks generally will follow the equities itself and that what happened , once we bottomed and even before we bottom does not have to be a general equity bottom it could be so more along the line people say I want to buy Gold , a lot of people when they come late into this market buy gold stocks thinking it is Gold , in a way they are buying a derivative of Gold

David Morgan : The demand for Silver is infinite

David Morgan : the monetary demand could move on and replace a possibly declining industrial demand for silver says David Morgan , we could see a possible correction from the actual levels to say $36 he added , the silver ultimate monetary aspects will come to the fore , we are moving into an age of things that we need not things that we want , the demand for silver is infinite , the markets are saying we are in trouble , the precious metals is the only place that cannot default it is the only monetary system that it is outside this whole matrix , it is the last mean of payment , no counter-party risk with gold and silver everything else in the financial world has a counter-party risk , more and more money will be seeking that mean of payment , gold stocks are stocks they are not gold if you have weakness in the general equity market gold stocks generally will follow the equities themselves and that what happens

David Morgan : SLV ETF is a paper investment not a Silver investment

Chris Martenson interviews Silver Guru David Morgan 20th July 2011
David Morgan : it is definitely not a free market in the true sense of the word says David Morgan but it is not as manipulated as some people think , the overall trend in Gold and Silver cannot be manipulated , I can almost guarantee that there are multiple owners for every bar that SLV ETF report , it does not mean that that bar does not exist , there are leases and swaps multiple claims on the same silver bar says Morgan , SLV is paper investment that's not silver , you should not consider it as your primary silver investment . The SLV has claim to roughly 300 million ounces of Silver the amount of silver that is held by the dealers on the COMEX is less than 30 million , so in round numbers the SLV is ten times bigger than the COMEX , and the COMEX is what gets all the attention .

David Morgan : silver beats gold two to one in capital gain

David Morgan : as far as capital gain is concerned silver beat gold two to one since the beginning of the bull market , from 2002 to present day the ratio has gone from 80 to 1 to 40 to 1 , so for every dollar you would make in gold you would make two in Silver but the ride has been one heck of a ride not suitable for everyone , again it depends on the person themselves

David Morgan in a Silver Mint

David Morgan striking a SILVER Proof coin, Old Glory Mint : "Grab what you can get." Eric Sprott is very well informed. The 3 men he listed, Ted Butler, Dave Morgan and Jason Hommel are among the smartest guys in the room when it comes to silver. The only guys you could add to that list would be James Turk, Adrian Douglas and Mike Maloney. referring to 2000-2010 than Gold outperformed Silver. In Jan of 2000 Gold was about $280, and in Jan of 2010 it was around $1120, a gain of almost exactly 400%. In Jan of 2000 Silver was around 5ish and in Jan of 2010 it was around 17, a gain of 340%. Close, but Gold outperformed Silver.

David Morgan on The Silver seasonality

David Morgan on Financial sense newshour discussing the seasonality of the Silver Market : the probability is extremely high that the silver will make a come back after the labor day , many big dealers in Europe take long vacations during the summer months , the industry itself is in a peak season , a lot of jewelery inventory during the summer season and jewelery does factor a lot in the gold , in silver as well but not as nearly as for gold , you gotta long silver in the summer and and hold that thing through part of the first quarter of the following year , so that's a long term hold for a long term trade says silver guru David Morgan of the Morgan report

David Morgan Gold prices could go up astronomically after QE2 ends

David Morgan on the Ellis Martin Report discussing the Dollars, Debt and Danger of hyperinflation : "what's coming unfortunately is the great day of reckoning , at some point the dollar collapse happens and at some sense it is happening in other words it is not usually an overnight anomaly where all the banks close that's not probably what's going to take place , what's happens is as we are witnessing more and more nation stats start to say I do not want any more dollars , the FED becomes the buyer of the last resort of the bond market which is true as it is still going on until June 30th when QE2 ends , and right now the FED is buying 80 percent of the bond offer after the 30th of June who is going to step in and buy it , China ? Russia ? Japan ? I do not know I doubt any of them will buy that much they may buy some , so we get to the end game and the end game is I do not want the dollar anymore , and the problem with this is it is still interconnected for the global economy because the dollar is still the reserve currency so if you stop wanting the dollar what do you want ? and it does not take much of the bond market to go to the security of Gold to move the prices in paper terms to an astronomically higher level and that's the situation we are facing , China is increasing its gold holdings Russia is increasing its gold holdings India increased its gold holdings , Central bankers have become net buyers of gold recently as they were net sellers for a very long period of time , so e are getting near the end ...so hopefully it gets to a point where an adjustment can be made in other words we go back to some kind of Gold standard or pseudo gold standard or a commodity basket or something that have faith in it we are not there yet but we are getting there very rapidly ...says David morgan

David Morgan, after QE2 interest rate will come up and the dollar could rally

David Morgan, founder of Silver-Investor.com, says that with the end of QE2 interest rates will rise and consequently the dollar will rally as many will flock to the dollar as a safe heaven Gold and Silver may not rise sharply in the short term but in the long term they will always be the safest place to be , the recent rally we saw in gold and silver was a technical change David Morgan says , 82 percent of the bonds purchases were done by the federal reserve if that truly going to cease (by the end of this month ) except for the roll overs , who is going to step in to buy US Bonds ? the answer is we do not know , we do not know if anyone will , so what we are going to see is interest rates coming up and as interest rates come up this will put more people where bonds prices go down obviously and more people might come to the dollar as a safe heaven David Morgan added

David Morgan & Max Keiser on Gold legal tender in Utah

David Morgan and Max Keiser discuss the new law implemented in the state of UTAH making Gold and Silver legal tender : this is the first state to out of a voluntary basis to start doing transactions in Gold and Silver David Morgan says , so from now on the merchants in the state of Utah will start accepting gold and silver coins on a voluntary basis , it is voluntary on both sides but for now only silver eagles and gold eagles are accepted ( not the Canadian maple leafs for example ) , there is a depository that was set up where people can put their gold and silver into and are being issued a debt card which makes the whole transaction process pretty transparent , now you can walk to any store and buy whatever you want to buy with your debit card , this could really catch on once it is implemented , Utah had the ability to stand up for the states rights as outlined in the bill of rights
