80% of world reserve currency held in US dollars, as of the 1st quarter of 2013, according to the IMF. Though I would be concerned with virtually all of the major countries in the world going broke, that it could change rather rapidly. The major problem the US has is it's massive entitlement (welfare, WIC, EBT, Sec. 8, etc) and government payroll/retirement, with no way to fund said problem. Too many people living off the system and not enough paying in. Too few full time or good paying jobs to support such a behemoth.
