Silver Shortage Coming Soon - Stephen Leeb

Money manager predicts the price of silver to skyrocket on industrial growth.
Stephen Leeb : " Silver is an extremely interesting metal , in addition of being a precious metal it may even have a longer history than gold as a precious metal , and one obviously for its price it is more easy to accumulate for the typical investor ...it is also a remarkable industrial metal , its properties are totally unique : it's the best electrical conductor in the world better than copper , it's the best thermal conductor in the world and because of these unique properties it finds itself in a lot of things you won't suspect ...one thing you look at is how much you are using relatively to how much much silver there is in the ground right now that ratio is ten to one that means that every year we have been mining one tenth of the reserve base of silver that's scary that is frightening , that means that we have too increase this resource dramatically or lese we are just going to run out of silver , and so you asked me for the price of silver ? if I told you a hundred dollars based on all what I am saying right now I do not think in any way you can call me crazy , i mean silver could be an absolute huge huge winner....there is very little of it and we need it for everything...

Archaeologists Uncover Britains Oldest House

Archaeologists say they have discovered Britain's oldest house at a Stone Age site in northern England. Researchers say the house dates back 10,500 years.

Archaeologists in Britain have discovered a three-and-a-half meter wide circular structure at Star Carr, near Scarborough.

Researchers from Manchester and York universities say these ancient cultural remains date back 10,500 years to when Britain was still linked to continental Europe.

Near the structure—thought to be a house—archaeologists uncovered a large wooden platform made of split and hewn timbers, extending into an ancient lake.

Researchers say this is the earliest evidence of carpentry in Europe.

The team also found pieces of flint and antlers thought to have been used for arrows and spearheads.

The archaeologists say the site was inhabited by hunter gatherers from a time just after the last ice age, for a period of between 200 and 500 years.

[Nicky Milner, York University]:
"We have actually got this amazing barb point. It would have been a lot longer than this, this is a fragment used for hunting wild beasts like wild cows, red deer, wild boars, elk, really enormous animals, and we have evidence of bones from the sites show that they were eating these animals."

The house, first excavated by the team two years ago, have post holes around a central hollow, which could have been filled with organic matter such as reeds, and possibly a fireplace.

It predates by 500 years, a dwelling at Howick in Northumberland, northern England, previously thought to have been Britain's oldest.

US fishermen struggle amid oil clean up

The US government's point man on the Gulf oil spill says BP's blown-out well is not securely plugged to his satisfaction and that the drilling of the relief well must go ahead.

Retired Coast Guard Admiral Thad Allen has said that although no oil is flowing from the well, the "bottom kill" operation must be completed.

It was suspended earlier this week because of bad weather and could take four days to retstart.

The government estimates that the broken well leaked close to five million barrels of oil before it was capped and sealed.

And last week, it released a report stating only a quarter of that oil remains on, or underneath the water.

But in the fishing town of Lafitte, Louisiana, many people who depend on the Gulf waters for their living are questioning the government's claims.

Al Jazeera's Cath Turner reports.

Brazil to Make All UFO Records Public August 2010

RIO DE JANEIRO -- RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) — Brazil has ordered its air force to document any UFO sightings and make the data available to researchers and the public.

A decree in the official gazette says the air force will register any sightings by military and commercial pilots, along with air traffic controllers.

A spokesman says the air force has UFO archives dating back decades, but there had been no official order on what to do with the material. The spokesman could not be named under air force rules.

All past and future data — whether written reports, photos or video — will be processed by the air force and then housed in the National Archives in Rio de Janeiro.

Ancient Aliens 2010 series - The Evidence

If ancient aliens visited Earth, what was their legacy, and did they leave behind clues that exist in plain sight such as sophisticated aircraft, complex electrical grids, and intricate construction machinery? Indian Sanskrit texts, dating back to 6000 B.C., describe in varying but vivid detail flying machines called Vimanas. Megalithic stone structures in Egypt reveal evidence of precision saw work. Interpretations of the Jewish Zohar writings offer depictions of a life-sustaining manna machine, eerily similar to chlorella algae processing systems today. Are these examples of modern technology, or is there evidence that these incredible mechanisms existed on Earth thousands of years ago?

Energy Efficient Housing Reaches New Heights In Japan

Daiwa House Industry Company in Japan has developed the next generation of energy efficient housing. The homes use rechargeable lithium-ion batteries that produce so much electricity homeowners may end up selling the surplus to the local grid.

At first glance, Daiwa's battery-operated house, with its rooftop solar panels, appears quite conventional.

But inside, this 2600 square foot home in Saitama near Tokyo quickly reveals itself to be a model in energy efficiency.

Daiwa calls it the eco-house. It's connected to the grid, but is designed to provide it's own electricity for 14 uninterrupted hours each day. The difference between this and other solar powered homes is the rechargeable lithium-ion battery that stores the electricity generated each day by the rooftop panels.

The power is distributed throughout the house by a centralized computer system which also keeps the home-owner informed of daily energy usage.

Daiwa's Saeki Yoshinori says the system also offers energy saving suggestions.

[Saeki Yoshinori, General Manager, Daiwa House Industry]:
"Advised by this monitor, residences can choose whether they're going to sell the stored electricity to the local grid or use it up in the house to reduce CO2."

The company believes its energy management system will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 65 percent. And as the technology improves, it says household electricity bills will disappear entirely.

At a cost of more than $600,000 however, the house is not cheap. But Daiwa says the price of the technology will come down over time and that power storage and management will save homeowners money in the long run.

[Saeki Yoshinori, General Manager, Daiwa House Industry]:
"By enhancing the electricity storing technologies, we would be able to make this house fully self-sustainable with the energy generated in the house in the near future."

Daiwa's Eco-houses are expected to go on sale by April next year.

Michael Tsarion - Free Truth Interview 08-05-10

Michael Tsarion on the Free Truth Radio Show on TNS with Patrick Lynch. Recorded on August 5th, 2010.

Was Atlantis A Center Of Advanced Civilization? Many ancient texts and mythologies speak of a great conflict between the Gods fought with advanced weaponry that eventually destroyed everything. Michael Tsarion researched and analyzed many of these different texts and gave his own account of what may have happened in during that ancient time. Step out of the matrix and examine Tsarion's research deep into man's history. Asking questions that your Religion does not want to discuss, and finding answers that science cannot explain
Michael Tsarion gives his perception as to why the world is in the present state of decay and who it is that really rules from the top of the power pyramid. He believes that earth's crime-soaked history has been manipulated by powerful secret societies with bloodline connections to ancient alien visitors who crossed their own DNA with that of earth's indigenous inhabitants. It is not my opinion that everything in this presentation is meant to be taken literally but it is of paramount importance that each and every human being discovers what the future holds, and what the world's ancient scriptures are saying. This riveting investigation into the occult history of the world will open your eyes and allow you to make sense of the agendas of government and religion, the strange preoccupations of the media, and much of what can transpire in future years. I remain skeptical of some the opinions Tsarion presents in this video but overall he was able to paint a different picture of the world I thought I had figured out thru everything I was raised to believe and what we are taught in school. Please watch with an open mind and come to your own conclusion but realize that this is just another point of view based on information that Tsarion has analyzed but you must do the same.
Michael Tsarion
Biography (from www.coasttocoastam.com ) :

Alternative historian and author, Michael Tsarion is an expert on the occult history of Ireland and America. Born in Ireland, he has researched mythologies of the world, as well as his own country's magnificent and mysterious Druidic history. Michael's work considers the consequences to civilization of extraterrestrial involvement and answers many of the quandaries that have puzzled other "visitation" experts. It clarifies the disinformation about Atlantis and the lost continents of pre-history and it shows that the orchestrated chaos of today's world has roots in ancient times. Looking ahead, Michael offers profound solutions for the future.

Bob Chapman on Republic Broadcasting Network Aug 10 2010

There is no question there is going to be a global shift away from the dollar , Bob Chapman On The International Forecaster : "It's just the same old, same old, business as usual in America. The Fed creates money out of thin air, uses it to keep the economy from teetering over the edge of destruction as ludicrous salaries and bonuses are collected by Wall Street Illuminists and as US consumers are deceptively informed that we have green shoots sprouting up and that recovery is just around the corner. So go out and borrow, borrow, borrow, and spend, spend, spend, so US transnational conglomerates can continue to generate their off-shore, untaxed profits to pay Illuminist salaries and bonuses for their henchmen in Corporate America. Then you have the President's Working Group on Financial Markets (aka the Plunge Protection Team, aka the PPT for short), rigging markets around the world 24/7 with the money created out of thin air by the Fed via the repo pool."

The Historic Gold Silver Ratio

The price of silver has been notoriously volatile as it can fluctuate between industrial and store of value demands. At times this can cause wide ranging valuations in the market, creating volatility.

Silver often tracks the gold price due to store of value demands, although the ratio can vary. The gold/silver ratio is often analyzed by traders, investors and buyers. In 1792, the gold/silver ratio was fixed by law in the United States at 1:15, which meant that one troy ounce of gold would buy 15 troy ounces of silver; a ratio of 1:15.5 was enacted in France in 1803. The average gold/silver ratio during the 20th century, however, was 1:47. The lower the ratio/number, the more expensive silver is compared to gold. Conversely the higher the ratio/number, the cheaper silver is compared to gold.
