JP Morgan NOT able to deliver on their SILVER Contracts. Who is Manipulating the SILVER PRICE?

Michael Rivero: Who Is Manipulating The SILVER PRICE ?

JP Morgan NOT able to deliver on their SILVER Contracts. Who is Manipulating the SILVER PRICE? Late Friday afternoon a big client of JP Morgan requested delivery of 3.6 million ounces, which is 17% of all the registered inventory of silver (assuming it's all really there). But only 1.6 million ounces were reported moved. A lot of people are asking where the rest of it is. If it wasn't immediately available and the client allowed JP Morgan to move it in pieces, that's another sign of very tight supply. Ordinarily seeing that much silver inventory move would make the price go up, but at the same time they - probably the same people -- were buying shorts to drive the market down late in the day when trading was slow. DC: The size of the silver draw-down raises the question of what happens if a few more big players want to turn their futures contracts into physical metal. Would this cause a delivery disruption or outright default on the Comex? TC: Somebody stepped up and said 'no more paper for me; it's time to get the real thing in my name.' They've played the [paper silver] game and benefited from it and now they want their silver. But not everyone can do that. There is 100 times as much silver paper [in the form of futures contracts] as there is physical, which means a lot more people think they own silver than there is silver in the world. At some point someone will be left out. If 17% of Comex inventory is taken out in one move, then you don't need that many more big players to take delivery to see this thing fall apart. A lot of people were already worried about this, and what happened Friday certainly raises the odds that others with paper claims are going to ask for physical. This morning I'm seeing a lot of dealers buying a lot of silver for their own inventories. This is a very scary situation. DC: Has an exchange ever defaulted on a commodity? TC: I don't know of one that has completely defaulted, where they drain their warehouses of product. So it would be a huge event. And the picture for gold, though not as urgent as silver, is also pretty tight, with futures contracts far exceeding available physical. DC: So what does the prospect of a Comex default mean for precious metals investors? How can we play it? TC: Only gold bars from major fabricators like ScotiaMocatta and Johnson Matthey can be used to settle a Comex futures contract. That is, they're approved for future delivery. When the shortage hits, if you're holding one of these bars the premium is going to shoot straight up, so in addition to a higher spot price you'll make money on the wider premiums. Because of this, a lot of my larger investors buy Comex bars exclusively instead of coins. There are now ten different mints producing Comex gold bars. Two years ago there were four. Comex is smart. They know it's gonna hit the fan and are now willing to approve other brands in order to increase their sources of metal. I don't think they'd be approving these other brands if they didn't expect a default. It's the same with silver. 24 months ago there were two approved fabricators, Johnson Matthey and Engelhard, making bars you could deliver on a futures contract. Today you've also got Ohio Precious Metals, Academy, and Royal Canadian mint. strange silver market "jp morgan" trading contract supply demand client request delivery physical inventory million ounces tight move price high low down slow manipulation attempt bull run bear large america u.s. They're not made by a country, but by large refineries, and because of this their premiums are lower. One exciting thing that happened this year is the introduction of one-ounce Comex silver bars from Johnson Matthey. The premium is $2 an ounce, which is about $0.75 an ounce more than for a 100-ounce bar. But it's a dollar an ounce cheaper than for a Silver Eagle coin, so they're selling very well. DC: How do you store Comex bars once you've bought them? TC: Several ways. You can take delivery of them and arrange your own storage. The newest state-of-the-art depository is Diamond State in New Haven, Delaware. They're tremendous. A buyer can arrange to have their bars shipped directly there, generally for free. They'll handle the paperwork and charge an annual storage fee. If you buy through us, we have a warehouse where customers can store their bullion for three years for free. CITIBANK RIGGING SILVER PRICE? ~ Bix Weir

Bix Weir explains the manipulation of the gold and silver prices by bankers / central bankers to prop up their ponzi fiat currencies that they can print into oblivion. Bix Weir, creator of the "Road to Roota" conspiracy theory, exposes the new manipulative silver short: Citibank. Bix claims that, along with JPMorgan, Citibank is rigging the price of silver to preserve people's confidence in our fraudulent financial system. Will the bankster's succeed, or will the whole system collapse?

There are a great many people in America who don't look to the government to save them, but are unable to financial afford to stash/stack food and metals. I am one of those people. I can barely afford to feed my family, let alone store food for a rainy day. It scares me to think how much more expensive things are going to become. We have seeds, we have hunting equipment, we have knowledge. Hopefully those things will be enough when and if we need to save ourselves

Why We Buy Silver: The TRUTH About Our Nation's Decent

we're taking back america, let the bankers move to zimbabwe, in fact we should exile them there, after we find them guilty of this treason they've perpetrated against the constitution.

Will silver see a major supply squeeze and massive price increase?

LONDON (Mineweb) - A note by long term silver analyst (and silver bull), Israel Freidman published on Ted Butler's internet site contains some true gems which will be manna to the ears (if you can have such a thing) of silver investors everywhere. Leading off with the comment that silver is, in Freidman's view, the best raw material of all for the investor to hold, he says he held this opinion 30 years ago (when silver was under $5 an ounce) and holds the same view today (at $33) and that for the investor in bullion, silver remains one of the few commodities that the average person can actually hold in his possession (gold is another but the price precludes the ‘average' investor holding all but a tiny amount in comparison). And he waxes enthusiastic, particularly about the US Mint's silver eagle coin which he describes as the most beautiful, and popular, coin in the world. He is convinced that it is so popular that one day the US Mint will not be able to keep up with demand (we have seen occasional times in the recent past when the Mint has had to ration sales) and that premiums on the coins will explode if, and when, the Mint has to stop producing them.

Gold Fields mine strike ends in South Africa

(Reuters) - Miners ended a strike at South African bullion producer Gold Fields on Friday, while President Jacob Zuma pledged to speed up investment to ease grievances fuelling the worst labor unrest since apartheid. But a month-long strike at Anglo American Platinum, the world's top producer of the precious metal, showed no sign of ending. Workers were also still off the job at Harmony Gold's Kusasalethu mine. With the government calling on miners to return to work, companies have become emboldened to issue sacking ultimatums to thousands of illegal strikers, a hard-ball negotiating tactic that appears to be having some effect.

Obama Better for Gold Bugs

Another term of Barack Obama would be bullish for gold : Phil Streible, Sr. commodities broker at RJO Futures, says Mitt Romney’s pledge to boot Fed Chief Ben Bernanke if he wins puts him at odds with gold investors. An Obama win would be positive and bullish for gold says Phil

Jim Rogers : Gold & Silver will both go much, much higher over the course of the bull market. The bull market has years to go

Daily Bell: Hello, again. Let's jump right in. Where is gold headed – US$5000 an ounce? Is silver headed toward US$350?
Jim Rogers: I'm not smart enough to know something like that. I own gold and silver and there are a lot of bulls right now. If you look at open interest and see all the speculators who own gold and silver, that's usually a worrisome sign. I mean, I am not selling my gold and silver, I assure you, but I do worry about all these speculators getting in the market.
Gold and silver will both go much, much higher over the course of the bull market. The bull market has years to go. How high it will go, I don't know, but maybe read your newsletter – I read it everyday – and so read your newsletter and you will find out where gold and silver are going. Silver shorts are everywhere!!!

A down day for silver, and there are a lot of traders and hedge funds making some fiat. there is nothing wrong with shorting, even on silver! What might be wrong (if it is really happening) is the US Treasury or Federal Reserve manipulating silver by hiring JP Morgan et al to buy massive amounts of naked shorts. What is wrong is governments manipulating markets. But there is nothing wrong with speculators making money (or losing it) in the market!Silver opportunity only exist because of the excessive paper leverage, huge short position and price manipulation to down side. Best way to capitalize on that is to buy physical silver and sit tight. Cheaper physical OZ are sold more profit you will make, thanks to all silver manipulators.

Jim Rogers Doubts Any Silver Market Manipulation

Daily Bell: The CFTC just dropped an investigation into silver manipulation. Is it manipulated day-to-day and does it matter?
Jim Rogers: A) It doesn't matter and B) I don't think it is. There are conspiracy theorists out there who say it's manipulated but I don't buy it. Mainly, I don't buy it because if it were manipulated like the conspiracy theorists say, it's been going on for 25 or 30 years. By now somebody would have told us. You can't keep a secret like that because then the conspirers would have to be all over the world. There would have to be tens of thousands of people. By now we would know about it. I'm a little skeptical.
It doesn't matter, as far as I'm concerned. Silver is going to go much higher. I own silver and if there's somebody trying to artificially suppress it, more power to them because in the end it's going to go up even higher. Whenever you artificially suppress something, once it finally breaks free, boy, does it skyrocket. Look at gold in the '70s. They artificially kept it down at $35 for a few decades. Finally the market said enough and it went up over 40 times. - in Daily Bell

James Turk : A Massive Short Squeeze on Gold & Silver is approaching

James Turk : The shorts will need to buy back at whatever price they can to limit their losses. It is this panic buying that will launch the precious metals like a rocket when $1800 and $35 are finally hurdled. We have seen battles like this one many times over the past 12 years, Eric. Some of these battles have been fought even more fiercely than the current one, which means it could take a while longer to get the breakouts above $1800 and $35. - in Mining

It seems that gold premiums may be going up as gold prices continue to rise. The premiums for ungraded Silver Eagles hovered just above the current market price of silver. $100 SILVER SOON ~ Bill Murphy

$100 SILVER SOON, JP Morgan SCANDAL: the SECRET Is OUT - Bill Murphy : SHORTAGES should be a good indicator of manipulation in the PM markets. Even though manipulation CREATES panic and less confidence in metals, shortages would indicate that the paper price is not consistent with the physical price. The case for manipulation is compelling to me, given the ease of doing it and the fact that gold has been manipulated before.

The prices of gold and silver are breaking out. Bill Murphy, from GATA.org, predicted all of this over a month ago, before the near 30% jump and now he says this is just the beginning. Murphy is further forecasting continued explosive moves to the upside in the metals prices. "It won't be long in till silver is at $100," Murphy declares. But is physical precious metals the way to go? Check this fast-moving interview to hear Bill Murphy reveal the other investment he believes will actually outperform the metals as a "10 to 20 bagger."

Forex Trading for Beginners ~ How Does Forex Work?

Day Trading Forex Live ~ What's Next? I show am example of a simple trade, what traders look for, and how you can make money of trading currencies. I also show how to execute stop-loss and limit orders to protect profits and losses.

A lot of people praise Forex trading and the high income potential it has but these praises are coming from people that have been in the Forex scene for quite a while. On the other end of the spectrum is a bunch of frustrated individuals that haven't been very successful. There are plenty of risks involved when it comes to currency trading but you can mitigate them by learning how to analyze and knowing exactly what to expect. You might think that you have to learn from a professional financial analyst just to be good at Forex trading but it is actually not too difficult. There are plenty of Forex articles on the Internet that talk about basic terms like "pips", "lots", "charts" and "currency pairs". Once you familiarize yourself with these terms, the world of Forex becomes a lot more interesting. When you go on to the market analysis aspect of Forex trading, you just have to be familiar with the two types of analysis with first being the technical analysis. When you conduct a technical analysis, you are basically analyzing how the market progresses. Things to look out for include the way the prices, open interests and volumes move. Historical data is accessible and the idea is to use this data to make a prediction as to whether or not a particular currency will fluctuate. Fundamental analysis is the other type of analysis where you need to take the economic factors and events into consideration. Take a good look at these events and see if they have potential in affecting the foreign exchange rate. When Forex trading, it is very important to keep your expectations realistic. With this mindset, you can tread very carefully and make your trades and actions as safe as possible. When you have doubts, you can always purchase a reliable application that can automate the trading for you. Look for the programs that are backed by professional Forex traders and understand how the program will help you. You are more likely to be successful once you use your basic knowledge of Forex fundamentals and apply it to automated solutions while managing your expectations. Currency trading is also something that you will get better at every year as long as you maintain your interest in analyzing market trends. This is why most of the people that praise Forex have been involved with the practice for several years.

Houses for $1,000

In places like Detroit and Cleveland, banks are unloading rundown homes for next to nothing. And they're tremendous bargains, even after factoring in renovation costs. The real estate market is so awful that buyers are now scooping up homes for as little as $1,000. There are 18 listings in Flint, Mich., for under $3,000, according to Realtor.com. There are 22 in Indianapolis, 46 in Cleveland and a whopping 709 in Detroit. All of these communities have been hit hard by foreclosures, and most of these homes are being sold by the lenders that repossessed them. "Foreclosures have turned banks into property management companies," said Heather Fernandez, a spokeswoman for Trulia.com, the real estate Web site. "And it's often cheaper for them to give these homes away rather than try to get market value for them." In Detroit for instance, Century 21 Villa owner Randy Eissa has a three-bedroom, one-bath bungalow of about 1,000 square feet listed at just $500. It's a nice place with lots of light, but it needs a total rehabilitation inside, which Eissa estimates will cost between $15,000 and $20,000. But that's not bad, considering that the home last sold for $72,000 in late 2007, according to Zillow.com. With prices this low, lenders aren't looking to make any money on these deals. They just want to get these houses off their books, so they don't have to bear the cost of maintaining them and paying property taxes. In fact, the $500, $1,000 or $3,000 that a buyer forks over often goes straight to the real estate brokers as a commission. And often the lenders have to kick in extra cash to make it worthwhile for a realtor even take the listings, according to Eissa. "Usually these homes are bank repossessions that the lenders have already tried to sell on the market, perhaps then put up for auction without success and then re-listed," he said.

Fixer uppers
These houses are almost always small fixer-uppers. Wiring, plumbing and heating systems have to be replaced, walls and ceilings sheet-rocked, plumbing and light fixtures installed and new kitchen cabinets and counters put in. Few come with working appliances.
Often buyers are legally required to rehab these homes to bring them up to code. In Detroit, buyers are required to sign Affidavits of Compliance Responsibility, which obligates them to make repairs outlined in an inspection report. Only after that can a certificate of occupancy will be issued, which makes the house legal to live in.
But even factoring in these costs, they're still bargains.
And as the housing crisis drags on, there are more and more four-figure listings popping up, as lenders try to unload their repossessed properties.
Cleveland is another city with many incredibly inexpensive homes. On Ardenall Avenue, in East Cleveland, McMullen Realty has a listing for a four-bedroom, one-and-a-half bath house for $1,900. It's been vandalized inside, but the outside is in good shape.
It features a deep front porch with Doric columns, double dormer windows and a separate garage. It's an excellent opportunity, according to agent Tonya Stoudamire. The last time it sold was in March of 2008 when it went for $16,677, according to Zillow.
"East Cleveland has a beautiful housing stock," she said. "These houses just need someone to come in and love them a little."
Another property for sale in Birmingham Ala. is priced at $1,900. The one-bedroom, one bathroom home was built in 1923 and has major fire damage, according to its listing broker, Tom Murphy Realty. The listing states that "Rooms are hard to distinguish."
But it's on a nice-sized lot, about 0.38 acre, close to downtown and transportation and has all utilities. Nearby, comparable homes in good condition sell for about $100,000, according to Zillow.
Rehab money
Most of these $1,000 homes can be renovated relatively inexpensively, and buyers can actually get government help to finance these repairs. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has a special loan program for just such purchases.
Its rehabilitation mortgage insurance, available through FHA-approved lenders, was designed to encourage banks to issue a single, long-term loan to buyers that covers both the acquisition and rehabilitation of a property, according to HUD spokesman Brian Sullivan.
He adds that there may also be grant money available from the $4 billion Neighborhood Stabilization Program, which was a part of the massive housing rescue bill passed by Congress in July, to assist buyers with grants for down payments.
Buying homes like these is certainly a leap of faith; they're generally not in the best of neighborhoods and they're often surrounded by many other vacant and deteriorating homes. Still, some of these neighborhoods may turn around and provide residents with good, dirt-cheap housing.
"It's a sad time," said Stoudamire. "But it's also a time of opportunity, especially for low and moderate income people."

How To Purchase Gold and Silver

Gold backed debit cards will likely become very popular, as long as it is allocated backed for delivery metal. That way the biggest criticism against owning gold is eliminated - I could walk into any store and maybe spend a couple grams where the store owner is none the wiser receiving whatever local currency, and a couple grams are debited from my account. As long as it is audited and not ponzified / leased out/corzined/ fractional reserved to the sky.

Marc Faber : The Sky is the Limit for Gold Price

Marc Faber : I think we peaked out at about a year ago where the gold went to $1,921 and then corrected.

Currently it's above $1,700. I think in the near term, we could see some correction. I do not know how high the gold will go.

Whether it will go to $2,000 or $20,000 I do not know precisely. In the event of systemic failure, it can go higher and higher.

You will have to ask (Fed Chairman Ben) Bernanke and (European Central Bank chief Mario) Draghi precisely on how much money they will print. The sky is the limit.

What Is The Best Way To Buy Gold And Silver

GOLD is the money of the KINGS, SILVER is money of the GENTLEMEN, BARTER is the money of the PEASANTS, but DEBT is the money of the SLAVES!!!
"...they don't make any money off the gold and silver... they tell you that it's dangerous... don't put any more than 10% in your portfolio as a hedge... what a bunch of crap! Gold was $35 an ounce in 1971... for the DOW to have had the same performance over that period of time it would have to be over 26,000 points." - Mike Maloney

James Turk : Everyone Should Buy Silver

James Turk: 'Everyone should have a precious metals portfolio' One only has to look at a 5 year price history chart of silver and then overlay a silver industrial demand chart on top of it to see the spot price bears no resemblance to supply and demand, since the demand chart shows a steady upward trend, no wild fluctuations whereas the spot price is extremely volatile. As Sprott says, silver is the most valued assett today.

Speaking in a video presented at a Brink's Canada's event in Toronto on September 28, GoldMoney Chairman James Turk outlines the reasons why "everyone should have a precious metals portfolio." GoldMoney is proud to have partnered with Brink's in August of this year to offer our customers gold and silver storage at vaults in Toronto. James outlines the stark fiscal facts about government debt problems across the developed world, and why central banks' determination to devalue the currencies they issue is causing a bull market in precious metals. He demonstrates why gold remains undervalued, despite the great gains seen in its price over the last 11 years, and a means of assessing whether or not the yellow metal is fairly valued or not. James argues that we are living in "fiat currency bubble", similar though many magnitudes greater than the recent housing bubbles seen in America, Ireland, Spain and other countries, or the "Tech bubble" in NASDAQ stocks in the late 1990s. The USA is racing towards hyperinflation, courtesy of the Federal Reserve's monetisation of US government deficits.

What is the Best Silver Bullion to Buy?

Canadian junk is good too - dimes, quarters, half dollars and silver dollars have 80% silver, 20% copper, 0.6 oz to every dollar face value. 1965 and earlier. Apmex has some decent deals in pre-64 rolls. Some uncirculated. 100% with you on the practical "trade" value of dimes. If Silver's worth $200 an ounce, how do you get change for bread? (Of course unless bread is $50 a loaf! and could be) Coin shows could be good though, hadn't though of that. Thanks.

Peter Schiff : Why Silver Is A Buy Now

the gap in the gold to silver ratio will tighten , the 50:1 ratio is ridiculous and based on every known fundamental the ratio should be more like 10:1. Look how much silver is destroyed and not recycled. Nobody throws away gold. In the insanity ahead I expect the ratio to be 23:1 bare minimum. Gold is useless except for being money. Silver has thousands of uses where it's demand will continue to rise regardless of economic slow downs. We haven't even begun to see what a digital world will do to the prices of the best conductor; SILVER! go long stay long, be patient,---the tortoise won the race not the hare (ignore the swings and buy the breaks/dips)

Coins are going through the roof now. It went from 27 to almost 35 in just 1 month. I dont see it slowing down with QE3 announcement. Stocks are up also. Its crazy out there right now. Lots of money to be made from what I'm seeing.Buy it now and we can laugh about the days when silver was just $32 an ounce. Sure beats crying about it because you didn't listen and silver goes through the sky.gold and silver are key to society's existence as it governs barter and trade. Magnet Test on a Real and Fake Engelhard 100oz Silver Bar

The way coin dealers were doing it was to drill a small hole. But, people then want a discount on the bar. The best non-destructive way seems to be using an ultrasonic thickness gauge (but, they cost $100-$200 or so) because It is possible to use tungsten (which has a higher mass than gold) in gold bars, but it is quite difficult to do. It would likely be nearly impossible with 1 ounce gold bars/coins.Copper is diamagnetic (lead is, too), but neither exhibit the behavior nearly as much as silver. Copper is less diamagnetic than lead. Copper is less dense than silver, so weighing an coin/bar and comparing the dimensions to a real one would easily discover a copper-based fake (unlike lead, which can weigh the same as silver when alloyed with other metals).

Shows you how to use the "magnet test" to determine which 100oz Engelhard silver bar bar is real, and which is fake (made from lead). Silver is diamagnetic, meaning that a magnet will not stick to it, but you will feel strong resistance when moving a strong magnet on the surface of the silver. Although lead is also diamagnetic, it is much less so, as this video shows. Note that this test will likely not detect real silver bars that were hollowed and filled with lead (the ring test might, however). The magnet test can positively determine that a bar is fake, but cannot positively determine that a bar is real. For a very accurate test, you can use an ultrasonic thickness gauge (check our our other videos to see one in action; we were the first to use this technique).

David Morgan on Stronger Equities & Increasing International Tensions on the Market Ahead

David Morgan discusses the rising tensions between Japan and China over the Diaoyu Islands Crisis. With a $340 billion trade market between the countries, the outfall over the increasing "tensions around the world" and the associated markets and the increasingly coveted resource positions, David sees these tensions increasing.David talks about the acquisition of CGA Gold by B2Gold and how this signals a rise in the mergers and acquisitions in the resource market. Then they discuss the calling of the bottom of the mining equities market in May and the consequent bottom of the metals market. US Dollar is backed by the mighty USA.But now its economy is falling, the fiat money will return to silver & gold.Romans,Islamic empires,Renaissance & early industrial revolutions used gold & silver. They prosper, more than we did.I see no prob in returning to the system. But a total collapse of the current system is needed for us to transform. The time is near.

Obama is Good for Gold

Gold Super Spike Will Signal an Obama Win says Jon Najarian "We've noticed large investments in SPDR Gold Shares ETF (GLD) and iShares Silver Trust ETF (SLV) over the past two months. After losing its luster from the end of February 2012 through the May 23rd low of $148.84, it wasn't surprising for us to see institutional buying return to the precious metal. Then we had Fed Chairman Bernanke announce QE Infinity post Jackson Hole and his two-day Fed meeting last week, and gold was off to the races. The spike [GLD] from $167 per Bernanke announcement to $172 was nice, but a 3 percent rally isn't really going to get the gold bugs buzzing. However, we see massive buying of November 180, 185 and 200 calls, which portends a significantly greater rally, perhaps even a super spike for gold." he added

Investing in Physical Gold rather than ETF

Reducing the Risks of Investing in Physical Gold : Gold Bullion International CEO Savneet Singh on the benefits of investing in physical gold rather than an ETF.

ETF or Exchange-Traded Fund. By attracting those looking to invest in nontraditional assets and sectors, the global ETF market has inflated to more than a trillion dollars in assets over the past few years...some put that number now at about 2 trillion dollars. "Gold held in the Trust's unallocated gold account and any Authorized Participant's unallocated gold account will not be segregated from the Custodian's assets. If the Custodian becomes insolvent, its assets may not be adequate to satisfy a claim by the Trust or any Authorized Participant." So if the custodian runs into trouble, it may not be able to make good on your claim. If anything, it should reinforce the idea that you should buy physical gold/silver bullion or trade with an ETF that trades only in fully-allocated, good-delivery gold/silver. I would recommend buying physical and knowing exactly where you can sell it in in your area for fair price when the time comes to cash out.
