Impeach Obama 2013 ~ Obama facing Impeachment says Aaron Klein on Fox News - Impeachable Offenses

President Obama facing Impeachment says Aaron Klein on Fox News President Obama facing Impeachment Aaron Klein on Fox News

When Congress returns from its August recess, lawmakers will have new reading material awaiting them, much like students returning to school — only this book will detail a case for impeaching President Barack Obama.

"Impeachable Offenses: The Case for Removing Barack Obama from Office" is a new book coauthored by journalist and WABC radio host Aaron Klein and blogger Brenda Elliott, and they, along with some members of Congress, are trying to make sure that every member has an opportunity to read the book — even going so far as hand delivering them.

"We plan to be working with a member of Congress who likes the book and has agreed to allow his/her office to serve as a conduit distribution source," Klein told POLITICO in an email. "[The] publishing firm will be physically bringing the books in as soon as Congress returns and we provide the labor to take them from office to office — hand-delivering them to aides and members."

Klein declined to name those members of Congress with whom he'll work to distribute the book, but did say that the idea is growing both inside and out of Congress.

Just last week Rep. Blake Farenthold (R-Texas) suggested at a town hall meeting that the House had enough votes to impeach Obama. The idea caught on when, this past Monday, Rep. Kerry Bentivolio (R-Mich.) told constituents at yet another town hall meeting that it would be a "dream come true" if he could write and submit the bill to impeach Obama. On Wednesday, Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) said that Obama was "getting perilously close" to the Constitutional standard for impeachment, according to Tulsa World.

"We are seeing the impeachment effort snowball more and more every week. It's possible the comments from Reps. Bentivolio and Farenthold represent the opening of a wider movement, both inside Congress and outside," Klein said.

As for Klein himself and his personal thoughts on the matter, he's just presenting the case for others to see.

"I look at my role as a court reporter, documenting the many arguments for impeachment in a matter-of-fact manner. I don't see myself as an activist. It is up to the public and ultimately our elected representatives to decide what to do next," he said. "Remember, impeachment is not the final step in removing a president from office; rather it is the beginning of a larger process by first bringing charges, or an indictment. My book, with its many pages of footnotes, acts as a possible blueprint for such an indictment."

"Impeachable Offenses" is scheduled for release Aug. 27.

Police State ~ Drone Crashes into Crowd in Virginia Injuring Five People

Suicide Drone Bombers? 72 Virgin Airlines flights await
This is a Thing now - hobbyists sending cheap quadcopter "drones" up, with ultra-lightweight GoPro HD cameras attached, to capture aerial footage. The cameras are not remote controlled, so they must be turned on before launch.

Only a blithering idiot would be flying one of these suckers over a crowd. There's a revolving propeller at each corner, and the injuries could've been much worse.

Add this incident to the controversy surrounding drones." I think Running with the Bulls in Virginia is pretty controversial on its own (even without drones attacking fans.) Of all the ideas we could import from international events, this is probably the most stupid. Funny though if more people were slightly injured by drones than were injured by bulls ....
