On the Wednesday, October 23 edition of the Alex Jones Show, Alex breaks down the riots that would inevitably ensue if food stamp benefits were to be cut, as Fox News host Neil Cavuto has speculated. He'll also speak to the significance of yesterday's interview with Navy Seal veteran Ben Smith who has confirmed the army's litmus test is whether or not they will fire on American citizens. Alex will also continue to break down how Americans will be further plunged into poverty once the Obamacare penalties start kicking in. On today's show, Alex welcomes Jon Corbett, the engineer and blogger who thwarted the TSA's naked body scanners with a piece of metal sewn into his clothing, proving their ultimate ineffectiveness. Corbett is engaged in ongoing litigation with the TSA over the constitutionality of their body scanners and grope downs, which he says is a blatant violation of the Fourth Amendment.

The US' housing bubble burst nearly six years ago, but the worst may be yet to come.

After a landmark settlement, the major banks have lifted a freeze on foreclosures and government relief has been too small to make a difference.

The line between home ownership and homelessness is growing ever more blurry, but neither President Barack Obama nor Governor Mitt Romney have made housing a major campaign issue.

Meanwhile, popular anger is rising over the perceived impunity of the banks and some have found innovative ways of fighting back in an age of austerity.

Fault Lines travels to Chicago and California to see how people at the frontlines of the crisis are confronting the collapse of the American dream.

"If you ask people who have been foreclosed upon, whose fault is it? They often they say it's mine. It's my fault, I did the wrong thing, instead of kind of saying this is a systemic problem," explains David Harvey, a social theorist and a professor of anthropology at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.

"Capital is always producing surpluses, at the end of the day if you have got a profit, you've got a surplus and the big question is what do you do with it.

"[So] what you do is that you take part of that surplus and you reinvest it in something. And in United States, housing and urbanisation in general has been a vast field for expansion of profitable opportunities."

Video appears to show Reidy entering trance-like state after talking to white haired man

Does bizarre footage from the moments preceding her 'Freemason' rant on the House floor suggest Dianne Reidy was a victim of mind control?

A man with white hair appears to give Reidy a nod, causing her demeanor to immediately shift as she enters a trance-like state before walking towards the podium to deliver her rant. A black man sat opposite appears to react to Reidy's strange behavior. The white haired man then immediately goes to his cellphone to send a text message.

Also learn why we never actually heard Reidy's actual rant when she was stood in front of the speaker's podium -- the media simply dubbed over her words from when she was being dragged away in a different part of the building.

A stenographer staged a bizarre performance on the House floor near the end of the debt ceiling vote last night, ranting about Freemasons before she was quickly dragged away by security guards.

Moments before House members passed a bill to raise the debt ceiling, a woman later identified as stenographer Diane Reidy approached the microphone at the Speaker's Lobby in a trance-like state and began to shout.

"He will not be mocked, don't touch me, he will not be mocked," Reidy ranted, adding, "The greatest deception here is this is not one nation under God, it never was."

Officials begin to remove Reidy as she screamed, "It never was, had it been, it would not have been....the Constitution would not have been written by Freemasons, they go against God, you cannot serve two masters."

"Praise be God, Lord Jesus Christ," she added.

Reidy also reportedly said "A House divided cannot stand — you are all sons of the devil!"

According to Rep. Joaquin Castro, the woman "had a crazed look" on her face. "It was very disturbing for the members of Congress," he said.

"I had passed her obviously all the time on the House floor, and she smiled a few times, she seemed nice, and according to other members who have been around longer, she seemed nice," Castro told reporters.

According to the Washington Post, House floor staff were "visibly shaken" by the incident and police are currently investigating the matter.

"I think there's a lot of sympathy, because something clearly happened there," said Rep. Gerry Connolly.

What makes the incident even more strange is that Reidy is not someone who showed up on the job recently, she has been working as an official stenographer with the Office of the Clerk for over 20 years.

According to presiding officer Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, Reidy approached the platform and asked if the microphone was turned on.

"I hammered to get control and hush her up. She said something about the devil. It was sudden, confusing and heartbreaking. She is normally a gentle soul," said Ros-Lehtinen.

Reidy was taken to a local hospital for a mental health evaluation. It is not known whether criminal charges will be filed.

"For that one short tiny moment we actually had some sanity and bravery on the House Floor!" joked Daniel McAdams, labeling Reidy "the last sane person on Capitol Hill."

 UN: Fukushima radiation worse than feared
Panel of experts says levels in workers during nuclear power disaster may have been 20 percent higher than estimated.
Japanese authorities may have underestimated by 20 percent the radiation doses workers got in the initial phase of the Fukushima nuclear disaster, a UN panel has said.

A big earthquake and tsunami in March 2011 damaged the power station 150 miles north of Tokyo, causing three partial reactor meltdowns.

The operator, Tepco, has struggled to contain leaking radiation ever since.

The UN Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation raised doubts about the dose estimates of the government and Tepco, in a summary of a report on October 12, according to the Asahi Shimbun newspaper on Saturday.
