  1. Jct: The Ithaca Hours model should also be mentioned. Sure, cash buy-in Berkshares are good chips but so are time buy-in Ithaca Hour $10 bills. Why not use both features? Let people buy-in with their time like at timebanks and let them buy-in with cash for a premium like Berkshares. Use both!!!
Best of all, when the Berkshare is pegged to the Time Standard of Money (how many dollars per unskilled hour child labor) Berkshares earned locally, like Hours, can be intertraded with other timebanks globally! In 1999, I paid for 39/40 nights in Europe with an IOU for a night back in Canada worth 5 Hours.
U.N. Millennium Declaration UNILETS Resolution C6 to governments is for a time-based currency to restructure the global financial architecture.
See http://youtube.com/kingof... on growth of the international time-trading network.
So let's urge the cash buy-in currencies to add a time buy-in division and urge the time buy-in currencies to add a cash-for-premium buy-in division.
Come on, both are working models and there's no reason they can't be used together.
So let's get the message to Ron Paul that we're not too interested in the sinking ship of orthodox currency since most of us don't have much and more interested in the giant network of LETS lifeboats uniting into the final UNILETS United Nations International & Local Employment Trading software for interest-free time-based chips.
