Never tell anyone that you have physical metal. Buy a big safe, pick it up and install it yourself , hide some metal in a place that is not normal for precious items to be found. Stay away from banks and their vaults. You do not want counter-party risk of any sort, that defeats the whole purpose of getting into precious metals.
