The US soldier who killed 16 Afghan villagers in a solo attack has
apologised for his "act of cowardice'' as he made his case at his
sentencing hearing for why he should one day be eligible for parole.Al

The US government shouldn't act surprised when confronted with the hate that Afghans have for them. Afghans will have every reason to hate the US if this piece of shyte gets anything less than life in prison without the possibility parole.
