Being careful of what comes in is important too. The mailman, UPS, FedEx, and other delivery people can quickly identify hobbies or preparations. With the added surveillance which is coming to light privacy is a serious concern. Paper trails are easy to track so be aware. While it is not illegal to buy a year's supply of freeze dried foods, in a time of crisis if there is a paper trail someone carrying a rifle may show up at your door to seize what you have for the greater good.
