The one eye symbolism is symbolic of the coming of the anti-Christ or maseeh-Dajjal (false messiah) who will appear before the return of Jesus Christ and will wreak havoc. The prophet Muhammad said "Every prophet warned his nation of the coming of the false messiah, but I say unto you that which no other prophet has said unto his people: the false messiah is one-eyed but verily your Lord is not one-eyed".
