US President Barack Obama has met with Republicans to talk about a deal
that would temporarily raise the debt limit.The White House said the
discussions had been good, but with no firm decision.Without an
agreement, the US government will default on its debt payments on
Thursday.But any deal still depends on whether the President negotiates
on spending cuts.Al Jazeera's Alan Fisher reports from Washington.
