A Metro-North passenger train has derailed in New York City, with reports of "multiple injuries" police have said.
The Fire Department of New York (FDNY) said 135 firefighters were at
the scene of the derailment close to Spuyten Duyvil station in the Bronx
on Sunday.Emergency services were "assisting with rescue and treatment of patients" at the scene of the accident.
