Gartman Back To Gold, Leaves Silver For Young & Foolish

Dennis Gartman, editor of The Gartman Letter, talks gold on Kitco News. According to Gartman, he turned "watershed" bullish on gold 2 to 3 weeks ago. Prior to his shift, Gartman was "agnostic" to the gold market. Gartman argues that several factors signal a bullish move for the yellow metal. "The fed has no intention of reducing the size of its balance sheet between now and the next 2 years," he added. With regards to silver, Gartman prefers gold due to its lower volatility. Tune in now to hear why he has shifted his views on the metal and leaves silver to the "young and foolish." Kitco News, July 23, 2013.

Gold Breaks Through $1,300 Level - Gary Wagner

Gold Breaks Through $1,300 Level - "Chart This!" with Gary Wagner

The gold forecaster Gary Wagner is on Kitco News to talk about gold's 4-week high and whether the $1,300 breakout signals a rally on this edition of "Chart This!" Wagner says the "market is having a series of higher lows" and this may be a good signal for the bulls. "Gold has fallen out of favor in regards to being a safe-haven asset and so it doesn't seem to react as much to world turmoil as we have seen in the past," he added. Wagner also discusses Bernanke and whether or not the Fed will taper. He ends by looking at the defined range gold is trading in and looks at it in terms of Fibonacci levels. Key for Gold to Hold $1324 ~ Peter Hug of Kitco

Key for Gold to Hold $1324 - "For Pete's Sake" w/Peter Hug of Kitco.com

Kitco Metals' Peter Hug talks about gold's 4-week high, the US dollar and Asian markets on this edition of "For Pete's Sake."According to Hug, the $1,300 break on the upside may be a buy signal. "When you see resistance levels and difficulty getting through those resistance levels, which we saw last week at $1,300, the trade is a short. Vice versa, when it breaks up through resistance levels, the trade is a long," he added. However, despite the break through $1,300, Hug does say he is not seeing the momentum just yet. However, the continuous monetary stimulation coming out of the US, Europe, Japan and China coupled with physical demand in Asia and ETF outflows slowing down are indications that it may be a good buy, Hug added. Tune in now to hear his take on gold and silver prices. Kitco News, July 22, 2013.

10 Gram PAMP Suisse Gold Bar & Canadian Silver Coins

Just showing a couple pieces of gold and silver that I recently purchased. 10 gram (0.35 ounce) PAMP Suisse gold bar, and Canadian Wildlife Series 1 ounce Moose (2012) and Antelope (2013) coins. The design on the gold bar depicts Fortuna, Roman goddess of fortune.
I buy most of my gold and silver from APMEX.com I've purchased several items from them and have never had any problems. Just go to their web page and you can see up to the minute prices. Pay by check; it takes longer for delivery but you save 3% vs credit card.

As for gold and silver, it's the flooding of SLV and GLD paper transactions and futures causing the price to drop. Silver even more since tied to industrial demand. As for over supplied, , it's a finite resource most of which is already mined and traded. It's not like someone just found thousands of tons of the precious metals and dumped it on the market.

Silver and Gold, what will it take to awaken the American people?

Quick discussion about what it will take to get people in to Silver and Gold
When I talk about silver stagnation in price, I mean in the short term. We all know there will be a upward trend in price in the long term, so there is no argument there When will silver meteorically rise? That is hard question and is dependent on many factors: costs to mine produce and refine silver, levels of production, levels of demand, outside factors such as level of public debt, overprinting of currency by the Fed and other governments around the world. Check out chris Martenson on exponential growth theory. I believe silver is included in that theory. People will come into the silver market right at the end so for the stackers its only just extra time to get the physical as cheep as dirt.

Gold & Silver Shortages ~ Asian Dealers Fear Summer Shortage

Gold Jump Pulls Miners Higher as Asian Dealers Fear Summer Shortage

Silver Shortage
London Gold Market Report

From Adrian Ash

The WHOLESALE price of gold leapt in thin Asian trade Monday morning, jumping 1.7% inside half-a-minute and then extending its run in London to new 1-month highs at $1322 per ounce.

London-listed gold equities followed, with shares in Randgold Resources – tipped today by analysts at both J.P. Morgan and Morgan Stanley as better able to cut costs and avoid write-downs than competitors – rose 2.5%.

So too however did shares in African Barrick Gold – named by Morgan Stanley as a gold miner facing "heightened risks [with] limited scope to raise returns."

Russian gold miner Petropavlovsk, which by end-May had sold forward 70% of its 2013 output to hedge the falling gold price, meantime rose over 4.3% on the London stock market, taking its rally of the last two weeks above 40%.

Shares in the former million-ounce miner remained 75% below the start of 2013, however.

Randgold Resources was trading today 25% down for the year so far.

"Gold broke through a key technical level at $1300," said one Singapore trader to Reuters this morning.

The first breach of this "psychologically important" level since end-June, however, gold "is still a good $230 off the technically important 200-day moving average," says the daily note from Germany's Commerzbank.

Gold and cost of production

I discuss how people are talking about if gold falls below the cost of production, then there should be a bottoming out in gold. This is only TRUE if the economy is still growing (using the phony GDP numbers). If you get a 2008 story again, all bets are off.

Michio Kaku Physics of the Impossible

Prof. Michio Kaku, who discussed topics from his newest book, Physics of the Impossible.

According to Kaku, the basic physics of invisibility has been demonstrated sufficiently; it's merely an engineering problem now, he said. Laboratories around the world have shown that microwaves can be wrapped around an object to render it invisible. Within a decade or so, the ability to make an object "totally vanish in one color" will be possible, Kaku noted. Sometime after that, a cylinder made from 'metamaterials' may allow soldiers to become invisible, he said.

Kaku spoke about teleportation, pointing out that researchers have already teleported a photon from one Canary Island to another over a distance of 100 miles. In the next decade, he theorized, water molecules will be teleported and then complex molecules like DNA.

Kaku shared the latest info on a kind of telepathy. He said MRI brain scans have shown with a 98% accuracy rate when a college student is lying. He speculated that using brain scans to read a person's mind is not too far away. Kaku also discussed precognition, and Art shared his own precognitive experience regarding a car accident.

Kaku also covered global climate change, alternative energy, psychokinesis, perpetual motion machines, SETI, and the potential effects of WR 104, a binary star located 8,000 light years away. Experts fear that when the star explodes it could send a beam of destructive gamma-ray radiation towards Earth. Kaku said the star may have already exploded.

Biography:

Dr. Michio Kaku is an internationally recognized authority in theoretical physics and the environment. He holds the Henry Semat Professorship in Theoretical Physics at the City College and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. He has lectured around the world and his Ph.D. level textbooks are required reading at many of the top physics laboratories. Dr. Kaku graduated from Harvard in 1968, summa cum laude, and number one in his physics class.

He received a Ph.D. from the University. of California at Berkeley Radiation Laboratory in 1972. He held a lectureship at Princeton University in 1973. He then joined the faculty at the City University of New York, where he has been a professor of theoretical physics for 25 years. His goal is to help complete Einstein's dream of a theory of everything, a single equation, perhaps no more than one inch long, which will unify all the fundamental forces in the universe.

FAKE PAMP SUISSE Tungsten Filled Gold Bars found in NYC. Is your gold bullion real?

FAKE PAMP SUISSE Tungsten Filled Gold Bars found in NYC. Is your gold bullion real?

A few days ago, our report on the discovery of a single 10 oz Tungsten-filled gold bar in Manhattan's jewelry district promptly went viral, as it meant that a tungsten-based, gold-counterfeiting operation, previously isolated solely to the UK and Europe, had crossed the Atlantic.

The good news was that the counterfeiting case was isolated to just one 10 oz bar. This morning, the NYPost reports that as had been expected, in the aftermath of the realization that the sanctity of the gold inventory on 47th Street just off Fifth Avenue has been polluted, and dealers promptly check the purity of their gold, at least ten more fake 10-ounce "gold bars" filled with Tungsten have been discovered. The Post has learned as many as 10 fake gold bars — made up mostly of relatively worthless tungsten — were sold recently to unsuspecting dealers in Manhattan's Midtown Diamond District. The 10-oz. gold bars are hugely popular with Main Street investors, and it is not known how many of the fake gold bars were sold to dealers — or if any fake bars were purchased by the public.

As is to be expected, the Post story is weak on details: after all, any dealer who admits to having allowed Tungsten to enter his or her inventory can kiss their retail business goodbye, as customers will avoid said Tungsten outlet like the plague, for the simple reason that suddenly counterparty risk has migrated from Wall Street to the Diamond District. The one named dealer is the same one who already made an appearance in the previous story on Tungsten in gold's clothing. One gold dealer discovered that four of the 3-inch-by-1-inch gold bars he bought — worth about $72,000 retail — were counterfeit. "It has the entire street on edge," said Ibrahim Fadl, 62, who has been the owner of Express Metal Refining, a Midtown gold-refinery business, for the last 11 years. "I and the others on the street work off of trust; now that trust is strained." Fadl, a Columbia University graduate with a master's degree in chemical engineering, and who has more than 40 years in the industry, purchased the four fake bars from a well-known Russian salesman with whom he has done business.

Ah yes, those pesky Russians: always happy to do the Fed's bidding, because who really gains from the loss of confidence in physical gold? Fadl became suspicious when he offered the salesman a deep discount for the investment-grade gold bars and he quickly accepted it, a source tells The Post. Fadl said he did his due diligence "by X-raying the bars to ascertain the purity of the gold and weighing the bars, and the Swiss markings were perfect." Tungsten is an industrial metal that weighs nearly the same as gold but costs a little over $1 an ounce. Gold closed Friday at $1,774.80 an ounce.

We wish Fadl all the best in his liquidation sale. Others, for logical reasons, are far less willing to step forward: A second 47th Street refiner, who wished to remain anonymous, said he was burned recently when he bought six gold bars that turned out to be mostly tungsten, with just a gold veneer. He would not comment, though, on who sold him the bogus bars.

The counterfeiting so far appears to have impacted solely PAMP (Produits Artistiques Métaux Précieux ) gold bars, madeby MTB, whose CEO can hardly be too happy that some "Russian" has made it a life mission to destroy the credibility of any gold stamped with the PAMP stamp. Raymond Nassim, CEO of Manfra, Tordell & Brookes, the American arm of the Swiss firm that created the original gold bars — with their serial number and purity rating stamped clearly into them — said he reported the situation to the US Secret Service, whose jurisdiction covers the counterfeiting of gold bars. He said his company "is supporting and cooperating with authorities any way we can." Nassim thought the culprit must be a professionally trained jeweler to have pulled off the caper. "The forger had to slice the original bar along the side, hollow out the gold and insert the tungsten ingot, and then reseal and polish the bar, Nassim said.

The case of gold counterfeiting has already taken NYC by storm:

Gold, Silver gain on fresh Demand

Gold surged to Rs 27,300 per ten grams, silver appreciated to Rs 40,730 per kg

Both the precious metals, gold and silver gained in the national capital on Friday on fresh buying by stockists amid a firm global trend.
While gold surged by Rs 275 to Rs 27,300 per ten grams, silver gained Rs 295 to Rs 40,730 per kg on increased offtake by jewellers and industrial units.
Sentiments bolstered after gold surged to a three-week high in global markets, as Federal Reserve Chairman’s comments that stimulus may be maintained spurred demand for the metal.
Gold in London, which normally sets the price trend on the domestic front, appreciated 0.3 per cent to USD 1,287.69 an ounce.
On the domestic front, gold of 99.9 and 99.5 per cent purity zoomed up by Rs 275 each to Rs 27,300 and Rs 27,100 per ten grams, respectively.

Gold Standard? China reportedly planning to back the Yuan with Gold

According to media reports of early July, the People's Bank of China is mulling the possibility of phasing out the dollar as the reference currency for the yuan exchange rate, and to start using gold as the reference point.
The reports have not been confirmed officially, but analysts are warning that the step, if taken, will weaken the yuan and destabilise China's already troubled economy, ultimately provoking a new bout of the economic crisis worldwide.
Beijing's possible move to back the yuan with gold would not be meant as a strategic measure to strengthen the national currency and increase its attractiveness as an investment medium. Rather, it would be a flaunt aimed at demonstrating to the world (and to the USA in particular) that China is capable of taking the risks associated with a departure from the dollar standard. Experts warn however that, apart from benefiting no-one, such a decision may actually have catastrophic consequences.

Separating the yuan exchange rate from the US dollar may further weaken the American currency in the long run; in addition, China's monetary policy would become very much restricted, believes Evgeny Nadorshin, chief economist at AFK Sistema.
"The yuan will start fluctuating severely against the dollar and other major reserve currencies. This will affect the Chinese economy, which currently has serious problems as it is: the export revenues are falling, and the statistics for freight traffic and electricity consumption indicate a significant slowdown in business activity," says Aleksandr Golovtsov, head of the research department at UralSib Asset Management.

Possible effect on Russia
When it comes to discussing possible consequences for Russia however, opinions differ. Aleksandr Osin, chief economist at Finam Management, actually believes Moscow could benefit from a gold-backed yuan because this would help Russia in its economic relations with China.

On the other hand, the greatest danger to Russia being highlighted by most experts would be an increase in competition from Chinese commodities, which will be offered more aggressively in the export market due to the shrinking of domestic demand. "China's demand for Russian raw materials, in particular for crude oil, metals and fertilisers, will be growing at a slower pace [than is currently the case]," Golovtsov notes.

Gold and Silver Miners Rolling Over Again

The bullish case for silver is easy enough to make. It also makes sense that if the price per ounce eventually takes off, then the miners would do well.
Nevertheless, the problems that silver miners face are multifaceted and will be discussed further in the following sections.
Inflation
The next trigger that catapults silver prices higher will likely be associated with a notable rise in inflation that may already be in process. The Producer Price Index (PPI) was up last month significantly for the first time in a while and crude oil is again testing the psychological $100 level.
Still, inflation is a double edged sword for the miners since rising energy costs will be a huge drag on net earnings for these companies. This is especially true for the penny stock miners who are still in the exploration stage and will require revisionary financing going forward.
Tough Times for Miners
The entire mining sector has been miserable and positive sentiment is getting pretty close to zero. This might indicate a bottom is near, but the damage to the sector has been done.
The industry also suffers from a shortage of experienced geologists, and financing for these mining projects is hard to come by as a rule.
Furthermore, most silver comes from byproduct mining because primary mines simply could not stay in business for the lean decades leading up to the most recent bull market in silver.

NASA Moon & Space Program Secrets ~ Richard C. Hoagland

Richard C. Hoagland discussed how a current NASA return to the Moon has already led to a major new confirmation of the "lunar dome model," and shared evidence for the existence of a "secret space program." As explored in his book Dark Mission, he contended that NASA is actually the originator of Apollo Moon landing hoax theories. They co-opted a fake conspiracy to supplant the real conspiracy-- that there are ancient artifacts on the moon, and that humans are the 'ETs' who have traveled to other planets in the past, he detailed.

A clandestine group has secret technology such as antigravity and free energy, which has enabled setting up bases on the Moon, Hoagland continued. A recent infrared/thermal photograph of the Moon's south pole taken by NASA's LCROSS spacecraft was leaked, and he suggested that yellow perimeter lines in the image are evidence for huge domes on the lunar surface.

Now that a number of nations are sending craft to the Moon, an upcoming crater impact mission being staged by NASA in October could be an attempt to vaporize artificial domes to cover-up evidence of secret space missions over the last 40 years, Hoagland hypothesized.

Biography:

Richard C. Hoagland is a former space science museum curator; a former NASA consultant, and during the historic Apollo Missions to the Moon, was science advisor to Walter Cronkite and CBS News. For over 20 years, Hoagland has been leading an outside scientific team in a critically acclaimed independent analysis of possible intelligently-designed artifacts on Mars. Richard and his team's investigations have been quietly extended to include over 30 years of previously hidden data from NASA, Soviet, and Pentagon missions to the Moon.

Wikipedia
Richard Charles Hoagland, (born 25 April 1945 in Morristown, New Jersey) is an American author, and a proponent of various conspiracy theories about NASA, lost alien civilizations on the Moon and on Mars and other related topics.

His writings claim that advanced civilizations exist or once existed on the Moon, Mars and on some of the moons of Jupiter and Saturn, and that NASA and the United States government have conspired to keep these facts secret. He has advocated his ideas in two published books, videos, lectures, interviews, and press conferences. His views have never been published in peer-reviewed journals. Hoagland has been described by James Oberg of The Space Review and Phil Plait of Badastronomy.com as a conspiracy theorist and fringe pseudoscientist

The Moon

Hoagland rejects the entire body of knowledge represented by professional selenology and asserts that there are large semitransparent structures constructed of glass on the lunar surface, visible in some Apollo photography when the images are digitally manipulated. He goes on to say that NASA is suppressing knowledge of an ancient civilization on the Moon, and that the advanced technology of this civilization is lying around on the Moon's surface. He alleged in Dark Mission that the twelve Apollo moonwalkers, who would be well qualified to confirm the existence of lunar artifacts and glass structures, have had their memories selectively edited with hypnosis so that they no longer remember seeing evidence of a lunar civilization. He has stated that a feature in an image of the lunar surface, mistakenly believed by professional planetary scientists to be a rock, is actually the severed head of a robot, and that "someone with an obvious 'in'" to JPL was the true originator of the Apollo Moon landing hoax conspiracy theory in July 1969.

In September 2009, Hoagland stated that the extremely thin film of water that had been detected on the Moon was obviously leakage from buried cities.

U.S. government conspiracy

Hoagland claims the United States government has covered up the presence of extraterrestrials, that the Space Agency[who?] murdered the Apollo 1 astronauts, that NASA missions to Mars are a "well documented interest of the Bush family," and that there is a clandestine space program which uses anti-gravity technology reverse-engineered from lunar artifacts and communicated by secret societies.

Hoagland further claims that President John F. Kennedy was assassinated by an agency or agencies opposed to his stated policy of inviting First Secretary Nikita Khrushchev to create a joint U.S.--Soviet manned lunar effort. He asserts that federal agencies such as the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and NASA are linked to Freemasonry.

NASA and the Egyptian gods

Hoagland has written and spoken often about what he sees as NASA's "fanatical, relentless" drive to pay homage to the Egyptian gods Isis, Osiris, and Horus. Citing work by Robert Bauval and Graham Hancock on the symbolism of the Great Pyramid at Giza, he explains that these gods are honored via their proxies, the stars Sirius (Isis), the "belt" stars of Orion (Osiris), and Regulus (Horus).

EVPs, Parallel Dimensions, UFOs, Crop Circles, and Orbs ~ Ross Hemsworth

Investigator of anomalous phenomena and U.K. radio host Ross Hemsworth discussed his latest work on EVPs, parallel dimensions, UFOs, crop circles, and orbs. Something could be tapping into electromagnetic energy in the earth, at various hotspots, to create paranormal activity, he theorized. Here are some of his other observations:

Clairvoyants can sometimes communicate with orbs, which seem to be a manifestation of energy, typically circular in shape.
An image of a 'Reptilian' or interdimensional alien was captured in a photo taken at Rendlesham Forest, though the being was not seen by the naked eye.
The veil between dimensions is coming down as we get closer to 2012. A number of cultures in addition to the Maya, such as the Hopi and Maori have pointed to 2012 as a time of pivotal change.
There is a powerful energy line running underneath Loch Ness. Such geophysical fault lines could allow for a portal or gateway where creatures such as Nessie come through.
Time slips could be views of a parrallel universe that's in a different time range.
Ouija Boards can open a gateway but often to lower realm spirits.
Cases of psychic attack are on the rise.
Cemeteries are not particularly haunted, as spirits leave their bodies at the point of death, not where they're buried.
For recording EVPs, use a cassette tape recorder, ask a few questions, and then leave the room with the recorder running.
Infrared camcorders seem to work well for capturing anomalous activity on video.

Biography:

Ross Hemsworth is a business entrepreneur and co-owner of Glastonbury Radio, but is also a well known paranormal radio and TV presenter, scientific investigator of anomalous phenomena and an intriguing and entertaining speaker at events worldwide. His TV appearances include the hit series Ghost Detectives, the BBC's Ghostwatch Live - Tower of London and ITV's Haunted Halloween Live. He has been hailed as a "forward thinking visionary" and "ground-breaking paranormal researcher" and also promotes positive thinking and "cosmic ordering" - making things happen rather than waiting for six numbers to make you rich in the lottery stakes! He is also on the Advisory Board of the Exopolitics Institute.

Wikipedia
Electronic voice phenomena (EVP) are electronically generated noises that resemble speech, but are supposedly not the result of intentional voice recordings or renderings. Common sources of EVP include static, stray radio transmissions, and background noise. Recordings of EVP are often created from background sound by increasing the gain (i.e. sensitivity) of the recording equipment.

Interest in EVP surrounds claims that it is of paranormal origin, although many occurrences have had natural explanations including apophenia (finding significance in insignificant phenomena), auditory pareidolia (interpreting random sounds as voices in one's own language), equipment artifacts, and hoaxes.

Parapsychologist Konstantin Raudive, who popularized the idea, described EVP as typically brief, usually the length of a word or short phrase.

Paranormal explanations

Paranormal explanations for the origin of EVP include living humans imprinting thoughts directly on an electronic medium through psychokinesis and communication by discarnate entities such as spirits, nature energies, beings from other dimensions, or extraterrestrials

Cultural impact

The concept of EVP has had an impact on popular culture. It is popular as an entertaining pursuit, as in ghost hunting, and as a means of dealing with grief. It has influenced literature, radio, film, and television.

Investigation of EVP is the subject of hundreds of regional and national groups and Internet message boards. Paranormal investigator John Zaffis claims, "There's been a boom in ghost hunting ever since the Internet took off." Investigators, equipped with electronic gear—like EMF meters, video cameras, and audio recorders—scour reportedly haunted venues, trying to uncover visual and audio evidence of ghosts. Many use portable recording devices in an attempt to capture EVP.

Films involving EVP include The Sixth Sense, White Noise, The Changeling. It has also been featured on television series like Ghost Whisperer, The Omega Factor, A Haunting, Ghost Hunters, MonsterQuest, Ghost Adventures, The Secret Saturdays, Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files, Supernatural, Derren Brown Investigates and Ghost Lab.

Gold after Bernanke - Peter Hug of Kitco Metals

Peter Hug talks gold after Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke's testimony in front of the US House of Representatives on Wednesday. According to Hug, Bernanke's comments were nothing different from what he's been saying for the past 3 months. "He's basically saying and been saying that if the economy improves he'll consider easing off on the tapering program, which doesn't mean increasing interest rates. If the economy gets worse, not only will he continue his bond purchases but he may even increase them. So it's status quo," Hug said. "This [gold] market is at risk of further weakness," Hug added. He is concerned because negative news coming out of Europe and Egypt as well as the Fed's continuous easing should propel gold prices higher but they are actually in a downward trend. Prices are going down because people are looking for returns so they are getting out of gold and seeking assets that yield returns, Hug said. Tune in now to hear Hug's resistance and support levels for gold. Kitco News, July 17, 2013.

Gold Backwardation Seen by SocGen Prompting ‘Corrective Rally’

Gold’s biggest backwardation since 1999 prompted a “corrective rally” and negative investor sentiment means the outlook is still bearish, according to Societe Generale SA.

Physical gold demand is strong and “nearby tightness” will persist for the “foreseeable future,” Robin Bhar, a London-based metals analyst, said in a report e-mailed today. Gold will average $1,150 an ounce in 2014, according to the bank, which predicted the rout in April when prices entered a bear market, having fallen 20 percent from the high last year.

Tesla Inventions July 16 2013 Coast To Coast AM

Professor at the University of Virginia, W. Bernard Carlson discussed how Nikola Tesla was a major contributor to the electrical revolution at the turn of the 20th century, and one of America's first celebrity scientists. Though Tesla is currently in vogue, he was largely forgotten about for a number of decades after his death in 1943. Born in what is now Croatia in 1856, Tesla initially worked for Thomas Edison's branch in Paris, before coming to the US. Compared to Edison, Tesla was more of a thinker, while Edison was a tinkerer. Tesla "would visualize inventions in his mind...he had a three dimensional imagination," and was able to work out a lot of the details in his head, Carlson explained.

Tesla and Edison had a falling out, and Tesla took his arc-lighting system for streetlights elsewhere. One of his most impressive inventions was a motor that ran off AC, and he sold his patent for it to George Westinghouse in 1888, which set the stage for how we produce and consume electricity today. Tesla also worked with Westinghouse on the construction of the hydroelectric power plant at Niagara Falls. "Before Tesla there was only electric lighting, after Tesla you have electric light and power," Carlson noted.

In the mid 1890s, Tesla was as admired as Edison, and got a lot of press coverage and attention. During this time he developed the Tesla Coil, a high frequency high voltage transformer used to produce electricity. He also contemplated wireless power in this period, with the idea that electrical energy could be pumped into the earth to make the earth resonate, and serve as a power source by putting a pipe or wire into the ground as a conduit for the energy. He worked on the wireless concept up until 1905, when he had a nervous breakdown, Carlson detailed. Toward the end of the his life in the 1930s, Tesla began to talk about a particle beam weapon or "death ray" that could shoot down planes, and it was later revealed he'd created a preliminary design for it.
Chronic Pain Issues

First hour guest, orthopedic spinal surgeon Dr. David Hanscom talked about the problem of chronic pain. He's found that it's linked to rage developed around the feeling of being trapped by the pain. Chronic pain can be alleviated by building up or stimulating alternate pathways in the brain that can bypass the path the pain travels in, he suggested. Hanscom also commented on a report that hospital admissions for pediatric chronic pain is up 831% over the last 7 years, with teenagers especially affected.

Red Elk Earth Changes, Prophecy, & Bigfoot

Inter-Tribal Medicine Man Red Elk touched on such topics as Bigfoot, Thunderbirds, earth changes, Mel's Hole, and Hopi prophecy. He said he saw Thunderbirds during a time travel experience, and there are several different types, resembling larger versions of eagles. The Three Mountains area in Saskatchewan is their breeding ground said Red Elk, who'd planned to go there to call the birds back.

Regarding earth changes, people's negative energies contribute to the unprecedented storms, he explained. He's had a vision of Mount Rainier erupting, as well as a huge tsunami sliding Seattle into Puget Sound. The destructive visions of Hopi prophecy will come to pass unless 84%-87% of the world's population "get right with the creator," Red Elk declared.

He spoke of his visit to Mel's Hole across the Yakima River, many years ago. Taken there by his father, he described the hole as around 9 ft. around and somewhere between 24â€"28 miles deep. It's a blowhole for Mount Rainier, he added. Red Elk also shared his grandsons' encounter with intelligent Bigfoot and that the creatures could be called by banging on a tree in a certain manner.

Biography:

Red Elk is an Inter-Tribal Medicine Man. He is a self-described half-breed Native American / white, of both the BlackFeet and Shoshoni Nations, as well as part Irish and French. He is a member of the Heyoka (hi - OH - kah) Society, a Contrarian group of Native Americans who do not follow the normal path of mankind. Red Elk is one of twelve Inner Heyoka members. He is one of the nine members of the Red Web Society who are working to bring understanding of many hidden sacred teachings to the people of Earth. He is also an honorary member of the Cherokee Nations Twisted Hair Society.

In 1973 Red Elk went on a 69 day fast, taking water, juices, and vitamins. On or about the 49th day Red Elk began to experience a vision about the future. For a little more than an hour each day for 3 days Red Elk saw and experienced a future that he didn't want to see. The East and West coasts of America subside, a huge meteor strikes the Atlantic, unimaginably great earthquakes rip apart the earth as massive volcanic eruptions darken the skies and blacken the land. But these tribulations pale in comparison to what soon follows as the earth's axis flips and ensuing floods and 300 mile per hour winds savagely destroy buildings, people, ecosystems and entire nations.

Red Elk believes that there is Hope and that we have time to change and prepare... But the first thing we must change is ourselves.

Wikipedia

The phrase "Earth Changes" was coined by the American psychic Edgar Cayce to refer to the belief that the world will soon enter on a series of cataclysmic events causing major alterations in human life on the planet.

This includes "natural events" (such as major earthquakes, the melting of the polar ice caps, a pole shift of the planetary axis, major weather events, solar flares and so on) as well as huge changes of the local and global social, economical and political systems.

The Hopi maintain a complex religious and mythological tradition stretching back over centuries. However, it is difficult to definitively state what all Hopis as a group believe. Like the oral traditions of many other societies, Hopi mythology is not always told consistently and each Hopi mesa, or even each village, may have its own version of a particular story. But, "in essence the variants of the Hopi myth bear marked similarity to one another." It is also not clear that those stories which are told to non-Hopis, such as anthropologists and ethnographers, represent genuine Hopi beliefs or are merely stories told to the curious while keeping safe the Hopi's more sacred doctrines. As folklorist Harold Courlander states, "there is a Hopi reticence about discussing matters that could be considered ritual secrets or religion-oriented traditions." David Roberts continues that "the secrecy that lies at the heart of Puebloan [including Hopi] life...long predates European contact, forming an intrinsic feature of the culture." In addition, the Hopis have always been willing to assimilate foreign ideas into their cosmology if they are proven effective for such practical necessities as bringing rain. As such, the Hopi had at least some contact with Europeans beginning the 16th century, and some believe that European Christian traditions may have entered into Hopi cosmology at some point. Indeed, Spanish missions were built in several Hopi villages starting in 1629 and were in operation until the Pueblo Revolt of 1680. However, after the revolt, it was the Hopi alone of all the Pueblo tribes who kept the Spanish out of their villages permanently, and regular contact with whites did not begin again until nearly two centuries later
