Silver Market: China Silver Demand Increases as the Euro Continues its Downfall

Silver will be in high demand in the future. The future of silver looks promising. Many industry insiders understand that silver has the highest electrical and thermal conductivity of any metal that currently exists. As we already know, silver has the potential to store more power in a small amount of space that any other metal that is in existence. Electrical connections that involve silver have the capacity to ignite power needed at a rapid speed. Industries that produce cell phones, computers and other devices for the average consumer use silver. With the popularity of iPhones, iPads and other devices produced by such corporations as Apple Computers will only increase in demand. Solar energy is another industry that silver can accommodate. The list is endless, especially in countries where manufacturing plants produce electronics that use silver such as China. In the web based daily news site chinadaily.com explained why silver is an important commodity in article from 2012 titled ‘China claims biggest global silver market’ by Wu Yiyao. China is the biggest economy in the world in terms of manufacturing. Yiyao reported that “The Washington-based Silver Institute said total silver demand in China increased by more than 100 million ounces, or Moz, in the past 10 years, to a record of 170.7 Moz in 2011.” One of the main reasons China will be an economic powerhouse for the next 100 years is because of its manufacturing base. Yiyao writes:

Bob Chapman on China

Robert Chapman from The International Forecaster on China. : I think first of all they got very difficult financial and economic problems , 30 million people are unemployed exports are starting to fall just like that in Germany , they are both major exporters same thing happens in Japan as well although they have different additional problems , they have a real estate bubble that has not really broken yet , they have inflation which averages about 15 percent contrary to their figures 6.8 percent although in some of the provinces it is lower and in some it is higher , the people who live in Guangdong they go over to Hong Kong and they shop , Guangdong got lots lots of inflation , prices tend to be higher in places where people tend to go in on vacation , they continue (China) to search around the world for commodities for their potentially growing economy although they could slow down quite a bit , the world is facing a lower economy and that's really is going to affect very negatively the Chinese

China buying Gold hand over fist

The Chinese worried about a possible U.S. default are buying gold and silver hand over fist . The Chinese rush to Gold alarmed by the fear of the U.S. default , Gold is The traditional safe by excellence in times of uncertainty in the currency markets, with the extreme volatility of bank stocks and the fear of sovereign debt defaults (those whose bonds were issued by domestic banks are likely to become toilet paper, what the rating agencies often classify - wrongly - with the name junk) , a true 'gold fever broke among the Chinese investors, with a surge in sales of bullion coins by more than 120% in the first quarter of 2011 on an annual basis. A trend that has pushed up the prices of the yellow metal over the threshold of $ 1,600 an ounce. To drive the demand of the market towards the safe haven par excellence is also the debt crisis of the euro area and the situation far from rosy in the U.S., where the Congress has not yet reached an agreement on raising the debt ceiling with the risk of debt default for the country.
This is why China is focusing on gold. For some time China was a net seller of gold , as well as being a major producer. According to the World Gold Council (WGC), together with India, the country where the demand for gold recorded the strongest growth rates globally. The demand in China is extremely strong, and one of the main factors that drive the market's fears is the rising inflation. Data in hand, in the first three months of 2011 the demand for gold coins and ingots in China amounted to 90.9 tons, an increase of 123% compared to 40.7 tons in the same period last year. In India, sales stood at 85.6 tons. Globally, in 2010 the demand for bullion coins stood under 1,200 tons. According to analysts, the 'gold rush of the Chinese market is a new phenomenon. "Only a few years ago, the Chinese would not have bothered to buy gold bars and coins. But now people will buy them, instead of jewels, as they have a higher value over time . For the Chinese to buy gold is a kind of insurance, they feel they have made a safe investment. Currently, the gold reserves amount to only 1, 6% of the total assets of China, but analysts view it is possible that the Bank of China starts to buy more gold. Especially given the uncertainty related to yields on the US Treasury bonds issued by the Fed, on which China has invested for years because it was believed to be the best way to "park" the money arising from the huge surpluses of their trade balance.

China and India demand for gold and silver soaring

China and India are the largest silver marketplaces globally.Demand for gold from India , the world's largest buyer of the precious metal is projected to exceed 1,200 metric tons by 2020, according to the World Gold Council .In 2009, China bought more gold than India, making it the world's top consumer. China pipped South Africa in 2007 as the world's largest gold producer .Chinese demand for silver has quadrupled in 2010 .In 2010, China imported an unprecedented 14 percent of global silver as the demand for silver has been growing in the country. Till last year, China has been historically been a net exporter of silver. China is the largest gold producer but requires so much of the precious metal (in addition to what it already mines) that it imported more than 209 tonnes during the first 10 months of 2010.Since 2003, Beijing has been buying most of the gold excavated and refined locally.Today, China has more than 1,000 tonnes in its official vaults, up 75% in six years. Its gold reserves are now the fifth-largest among national central banks after the US, Germany, France and Italy. Most of the 1.3 billion people in China only began to acquire and own gold in 2003 as gold ownership was banned from 1945 to 2003. The gold market was liberalized in 2003 .The World Gold Council stated that Indian households are presently in possession of more than 18,000 tons of gold, which represents the world's largest stockpile.
Eric Sprott, of Sprott Asset Management, reported having difficulty locating enough silver bullion for his new silver fund said : "Frankly, we are concerned about the illiquidity in the physical silver market. We believe the delays involved in the delivery of physical silver to the Trust highlight the disconnect that exists between the paper and physical markets for silver."
Today the Industrial Silver Demand at 18-year High
The Chinese government is actively encouraging their people to buy physical gold and silver instead of putting their money into real estate.paper silver is not silver, its fiat silver. Properly secured physical silver is real money. Whether its the 90% coins, sterling silverware, or bullion, its all good. silver is becoming rarer than gold, people just don't know it. With its industrial use as a consumed precious metal, it has the potential to surpass gold in value
Gold is not consumed in industry at the same rate silver is because:
1) Silver is better at conducting electricity

2) Silver has a better thermal transfer rate than gold

3) Silver is a better reflector of light than gold.

4) Silver is a better catalyst than gold

Has nothing to do with high price, Gold is a lousy industrial metal. If gold cost less than silver, Silver would still be used in much greater numbers than gold.
. Silver can usually replace gold, gold can not substitute for silver, or it can but causes the product to be inferior.

China buying all the gold she could lay her hands on

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- George Milling-Stanely, managing director of the World Gold Council, breaks down China's buying patterns and if the country would get on a gold standard
There's been a lot of chatter in the gold community about China and getting on -- gold standard. Currently China Central Bank only has 1054. Tons of gold in its reserves so. Is China actually buying gold They've been buying periodically for a number of years now and every once in awhile they'll tell the world what they have done over previous period for example in 2009. They reported that at about 400 tons of gold to their reserves in the previous six years. We don't know when the next announcement will be coming but that said there a very strong flows of gold going into China right now. And that it -- and number of people in the market who wonder -- the private sector is capable of absorbing political it's flowing into the country nobody knows the answer we'll find out when China is ready to tell.

Bank of China Gold & Silver

I was there in Shanghai during the summer, and most banks were selling gold and silver bullion in their glass show cases. Bank of China has been actively promoting gold and silver products for years. I am now back in Asia and noticed that they have changed their marketing program slightly for gold and silver products. Silver & Gold Pandas can be purchased once again by special order but to my knowledge can no longer be purchased on-site at the bank. Prices for Silver Pandas have increased from about 160RMB the first time I lived in China to now about 240 - 270 RMB per coin. The price varies by dealer. One thing is for certain, demand is sure there. Prices will only increase. We are just getting started in the greatest bull run for precious metals in history!

If China could do something about the outrageous level of counterfeitting it would increase confidence in purchasing these items. I love Pandas more than any other coin and I'm virtually certain I dont own any fakes, but I just wouldnt be able to bring myself to buy those bars from a 3rd party.I listened to Robert Kiyosaki's advice on silver: "I believe this is the biggest investment anyone can make in the next 100yrs" I did my research and found an opportunity that has changed my life in 12 months.

The increasing silver price has attracted many gold investor in China

The surging gold price brings the precious metal price high. The silver price increasing pace even surpasses that of gold. The increasing silver price has attracted many gold investors. Customers say they purchase it because of its smaller risk. Also, the sum of money need to invest in silver is much smaller than that to invest in gold. In a Beijing store, the silver price has increase nearly 100 percent compared with that in July 2009. Business insiders say there are many channels for Chinese customers to invest in silver.
Silver is becoming the next cheaper alternative to Gold and it is selling very well in China

Li Qijia, Senior Analyst of Haitong Futures said "There are three kinds of silver investment in China. One is to invest in Shanghai Gold Exchange. Another one is to open an silver trade account in the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. A third one, which is also a simple channel, is to invest in silver coin.

Why Gold sales in China are exploding ?

Gold sales in China surges , Even though Gold has hit $1,300, gold sales in China is not slowing down. On the contrary, it is surging

The price of gold has been surging on the global market recently but gold prices in China haven't follow the global trend due to the recently appreciating Chinese currency. And investors are taking advantage with gold sales in the country surging.

In Hangzhou in eastern China, gold stores say their business increased by around 50 percent during the Mid-Autumn holiday. Some products even sold out. Yang Chaohong, Zhejiang Store Manager of China Gold Group said "Sales of gold jewelry increased by 50 percent, and sales of gold bars surged by 100 percent. One customer even bought 10 kilograms of gold at once."

In Shanghai, gold is also a hit with customers. Branch Manager of Shanghai Laofengxiang said "Our sales are good. During the three-day holiday, we sold around 3 million yuan worth of gold every day."

Gold products are usually purchased for special occasions, like weddings. But surging global gold prices are also driving Chinese investors to snap up what they can.
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. You are right. I have been reviewing documents about which central banks of which countries are buying gold now. China has made the biggest and most surreptitious moves of all such countries. It also appears to have made the biggest moves in the last 5 years of any country, although Russia has made more noisy moves. The brilliance of getting its populace to buy gold by running TV ads is stunning and don't let the world know the central bank is hoarding it. Chinese will not buy gold when its own currency rises faster than the rate of gold. Unless they have unrestricted access on US dollars or other currencies, but that will not happen. So this will happen when chinese yuan have rised high enough to remain stable or on the risk of collapse.

BUY GOLD NOW - BIGGEST INVESTMENT EVER - CHINA SECRET PLAN

Courtesy: flaskofcoffee

It is very well known that the EVIL ILLUMINATI [Senior Freemasonry] New Labour Prime Minister of the UK helped to destroy the PUBLIC sector UK Gold Reserves - Who was to benefit? the PRIVATE sector [Rothschilds]...

In CHINA the People's Republic of China "PRC" Government is wise and astute... it is encouraging its 1.3 Billion [1,300 Million] population to invest in hard appreciating GOLD... that does NOT affect Inflation of the economy...

Whilst EVIL politicans of the US & UK betray its people [who are largely ignorant of its DECEITS - like the
"911" "Event" through the very expensive PRIVATE Media linked indirectly to the US, UK & EU Central Banks]... the politicans of China understand how the economy works and have a Secret Plan to ensure its population buy into Gold - the best rare metal to buy into...

NEVER ever trust a DECEIVING POLITICIAN... but understand the Markets...

It s no coincidence that as RUSSIA is hit very hard economically by the US Geopolitical policy to attack the "Stans" around the Caspian Sea, Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan [to destroy the Muslim belief & its people - through US Secular policy of the Zionist Freemasonic Agenda] & causing major Terror attacks through entities like "Blackwater" private mercenaries - in places like Mumbai, India, giving the US forces of terror, a certain legitimacy to follow through with the so-called "War on Terror" against no identifiable enemy... through the US mercenary corporations [ALL paid for by US taxpayers] - initiated through the 911/2001 Lie/the purported "Reason" -Russian Roman Abramovich ["the Russian mafia?" owner of the yacht: "Le Grand Bleu" who is supported by Vladimir Putin - the absolute despotic ruler of Russia?] has recently bought into a disused Gold mine... this should tell us volumes...

As the RUSSIAN population [142 Million] & life expectancy rate in Russia tumbles (62 male and 73 female)... the politicians live in the greatest of obscene opulence - no different then to the absolute rulers that were the wealthiest Tsars of Russia...

As for the CHINESE population [1.3 Billion] increases significantly & its life expectancy rates increase (71 male 75 female)... the politicians in China never ever looked too kindly on its vast population... but treated them with absolute contempt... and as the biggest threat to their power, control, authority...

COMMUNISM was always a highly flawed political ideology - but most people do not tend to realise that it was carefully funded & covertly put in place by the very architects of the US Central Bank of Wall Street
[Read the excellent books authored by the late Professsor Anthony C. Sutton: "Wall Street and the Rise of Hitler" and "Wall Street & the Bolshevik Revolution" - both explain how Communism was carefully but secretly funded & nurtured by Wall Street Bankers... to destroy its society from within... Deviously Clever...]

So POLITICIANS the world over ABUSE their POWER & [invariably tend to] ABUSE THEIR TRUST... [As George Orwell reminded us (in "Animal Farm" & in "1984") - as if we ever needed reminding...]

Interesting that European & "Western" countries have the highest Life Expectancy rates of the World... [not surprisingly linked to GDP]...

[In the UK the Life Expectancy: 77 male and 82 female]
[In the US the Life Expectancy: 76 male and 81 female]
[In Japan (the Highest) the Life Expectancy: 79 male and 86 female]

Most people of "the West" do not tend to realise that many of the serious problems visited on other Sovereign countries were in reality designed in the US/UK to secure our best interests...

Remember that fact before criticising other hapless governments and their Duplicitous Deceiving Politicians...

Why Are The Chinese Gobbling Up Gold Like There Is No Tomorrow?

The American Dream
December 18, 2010
Why are the Chinese buying so much gold? In 2010 it has been demand out of China that has been one of the primary factors for the dramatic rise in the price of gold. Gold is up approximately 26 percent this year, and most analysts expect it to go even higher in 2011. So is China buying gold at a breathtaking pace because they view it as a good investment, or are there other factors at work here? Do the Chinese view gold as a hedge against inflation? Is China seeking to get out of U.S. Treasuries? Has gold simply become much more attractive than paper currencies such as the euro and the U.S. dollar? Or could China be preparing for the coming financial collapse that so many economists see coming? It is always difficult to tell exactly what China is up to, but one thing is for sure – they are buying gold like there is no tomorrow.
It recently was announced that China imported 209.7 metric tons of gold during the first ten months of 2010. That was five times more gold than China imported during the first ten months of 2009.
So what can account for such a dramatic increase?
Does China need all of that gold for domestic use?
Without a doubt gold is becoming much more popular in China, but it is not as if China does not produce a massive amount of gold on their own. In fact, since 2007 China has been the number one producer of gold in the entire world. They are certainly not suffering from a shortage of gold.
If that is the case, then what else could explain why China is buying gold so rapidly?
Well, there seem to be four primary theories for why China is buying up so much gold right now.
#1 A Hedge Against Inflation
Already we are starting to see some very serious inflation in China. In particular, food inflation threatens to spiral out of control. In an inflationary environment, gold is always a good investment.

Chinese consumers rushing to buy gold in China even at record high price

Chinese consumers rushing to buy gold in China even at record high price And in the west they shout sell us your gold sell us your gold NOW! hmm think about it people.

25th September 2010
International gold prices rallied to record highs on Friday, with spot prices nearing US$1300 an ounce. China's gold prices followed the trend and continued to climb. But consumer enthusiasm hasn't been affected.
It's China's traditional gold rush. The peak season for gold sales coincides with the two national holidays.

Impacted by a weaker US dollar and holiday consumption, international gold prices hit record highs.
In China, the price of pure gold exceeded 340 yuan per gram (?). But consumer enthusiasm is just as high as the gold prices. One resident said "For us, the price is very high. But we need to buy gold now since the price continues to increase." Consumers have flooded into gold shops, to find their perfect accessory.

Liu Ru, Sales Manager of Gold Shop said "Chinese people share a concept. That is to buy gold when the price is climbing. Since now it is holiday, many customers buy gold accessories as presents for relatives and friends. And also it is wedding season, increasing gold demand."

Silver prices have also soared, and even reached a 30-year high... making investments in the grey metal more attractive than ever. Analysts say the continuous decline of the US dollar has stimulated investors to choose safe
haven products such as gold. And with high consumption and investment demand, gold prices will continue to rise in coming days.

China encourages Silver Bullion for investment

China has introduced its first-ever investment opportunity for silver bullion. The bars are available in 500 grams, 1 kilogram, 2 kilograms and 5 kilograms with a purity of 99.9 percent.Silver is up just under 40% over the last year, quite clearly one of the top investments on the planet at this time. Can you imagine if every person in china bought just 10 oz of Silver... there would be none left ... Silver prices to the moon.Smart people buy bullion and take posession, whereas Americans buy ETF's, hahaha. Paper promises aren't real, peoples, paper promises are fake, try taking delivery of your paper promise (non existant metals) if you have any doubt.

Gold and silver has always been real money, until the Banksters created there Fiat currency system in 1971 the prices of real stuff just keeps going up. They short the metals at the COMEX, but with less and less metals there power will fall as the smart people take delivery. I think the Chinese Gov are all out in educating their people on the importance of silver. Recently, there's a movie in China named Silver Empire depicts an "ingot" banker's story during the late Qing Dynasty.

The family was like the Rothschild of China during that time. you'll see how silver was replaced by paper money, bank runs, etc. (those silver ingots just made me salivate =)

In China: The Gold rush continues

Imports of the precious metal reached 209 tonnes

• The trading volume up 43%

In China, imports of the yellow metal could be multiplied by six this year. Gold is seen as a refuge against inflation. Its success reflects the opulence of the new affluent classes. The obvious conclusion is to read the figures recently reported by Shen Xiangrong, president of the Shanghai Stock Exchange. According to him, China's imports of the precious metal reached 209 tons during the first ten months of this year. That compares to 45 tons imported in all of 2009. The appetite of the world's factory for raw materials is a key player in the world. However, despite the dramatic increase of its reserves, the Chinese ogre is still wise in gold. The Middle Kingdom wants to increase its reserves, but the monetary authorities are aware of the impact of their purchases of gold on his recovery. So first they seek to increase their reserves through their domestic production, not to cause a surge in gold prices. The global financial crisis has affected the behavior of investors, now anxious to preserve their heritage and to avoid excessive risk taking.
According to some projections, we now expect that 2010 ended with a sixfold increase in imports of gold from 2009. Investors are clearly looking for security, because the silver, palladium, or platinum, are also rising. There is international causes, including increased concern around the Korean peninsula and the euro area. But in the case of China, another factor intervenes: the surge in inflation. After rising 4.4% in October, a record 25 months, prices could slip even 5% in December, if we are to believe a recent study of Bank of America-Merrill Lynch. But for Beijing, this is potentially worrying drift politically, since the priority penalizes the poorest households. Measures to slow the economic machine, and including blocking bank lending, have thus succeeded in recent months. At touchdown the Shanghai Stock Exchange, after several months of enthusiasm, has entered a phase of doubt in mid-November.
Furthermore, the Shanghai Stock Exchange, trading volume on gold is up 43% over the first ten months of the year, but 247% if we focus exclusively on transactions for behalf of individuals. A craze that also reflected the new wealth of some Chinese classes. Which affects all kinds of markets, some of which may seem unexpected.
