10/14/13 - On Monday night, Piers Morgan invited Second Amendment Foundation founder Alan Gottlieb on his program ahead of his organization's protest for the day after the first anniversary of the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary. The interview exploded quickly when Morgan became incensed after Gottlieb accused the CNN host of appealing to excessive rhetoric.

The interview began in a hostile foundation and exploded when Gottlieb laughed at Morgan after he quoted the family member of a victim of the massacre at Newtown.

"That's totally over the top," Gottlieb stressed.

"You plan a campaign to promote the good side of guns on the first anniversary of the worst mass shooting at a school in American history, and you have the gall to laugh when I read out a quote from one of the victim's families? How dare you," Morgan shot back. "How dare you laugh."

"That doesn't allow them to use that day either to attack my rights," Gottlieb countered. "How many times a year do you attack gun rights on your show?"

"I bet you'll use that day to push your anti-gun agenda," Gottlieb challenged.

"You're damn right I'll use that day to promote gun safety in America," Morgan added. "And I'll do it on behalf of these families."

"We've seen your callous heart, Mr. Gottlieb," Morgan said.

"You don't know about my heart," Gottlieb said. "That's probably why you don't have as many viewers as anybody else, because people have turned you off."

"Do you know the reason why so many people get killed by guns in America? Because idiots like you -- and I use that word very deliberately -- think it's funny to laugh in the middle of me reading out a statement from the victim's family at Sandy Hook," Morgan chided.

"All your emotional rhetoric doesn't solve any problems," Gottlieb countered. "It's people like you that's politicized it. Not me."

The CNN host closed out the segment by insisting that Gottlieb laughing at a quote by a Sandy Hook survivor was among the more "disgusting things" he has ever witnessed before cutting his guest off.

A small air compressor of some sort is also mandatory. 1 can of carp cleaner or ether(starter fluid) with a lighter is a great way to reseat a tire that's blown off the rim. Also if you used a vacuum back for items like your extra coat it will save you a LOT of space and keep it from mildew.

That is when 90% of the population of America was self sufficient. Statistics now are that only 10% of the population of America is self sufficient so that is just about how many will survive a mass meltdown. 90% -- that's NINETY PERCENT -- of the population will die -- either from starvation, malnutrition, people defending themselves from them or the government goons. Whether it is next week or 5 years from now, this WILL happen. The defacto US Corporation will make sure that it does.

Money laundering is the process of changing large amounts of money that have been gained through illegitimate means. Money evidently gained through crime is "dirty" money, and money that has been "laundered" to appear as if it came from a legitimate source is "clean" money. Money can be laundered by many methods, which vary in complexity and sophistication.
Different countries may or may not treat tax evasion or payments in breach of international sanctions as money laundering. Some jurisdictions differentiate these for definition purposes, and others do not. Some jurisdictions define money laundering as obfuscating sources of money, either intentionally or by merely using financial systems or services that do not identify or track sources or destinations.
Other jurisdictions define money laundering to include money from activity that would have been a crime in that jurisdiction, even if it was legal where the actual conduct occurred. For example, under British law, spending proceeds from a bull fight in Spain constitutes money laundering because the bull fight would have been illegal if it had been conducted in the United Kingdom.[1] This broad brush of applying money laundering to incidental, extraterritorial or simply privacy-seeking behaviors has led some to label it financial thoughtcrime.[2]
Many regulatory and governmental authorities issue estimates each year for the amount of money laundered, either worldwide or within their national economy. BREAKING SYRIA UPDATE! Syrian TV & UN CHEMICAL INSPECTORS hotel TARGETED in BOMB ATTACKS in DAMASCUS

Multiple bomb blasts have rocked the Syrian capital of Damascus, a mortar attack on Syrian TV among them, reports RT's correspondent at the scene.
Suicide bombers blew up two booby-trapped cars near the General Organization of Radio and TV in Damascus, state TV reported.
RT correspondent Paula Slier said that two security guards were confirmed dead in the blasts while two suicide bombers died in their cars.
"Within the last 20 minutes there were two massive explosions in downtown Damascus. It seems that one was right in front of the Syrian TV and we are seeing some footage being circulated on line by the rebels saying that their target is the Syrian TV," said Slier.
But Syrian state news agency SANA said that there were no casualties while blaming the blasts on "terrorists".
Syrian TV showed footage of what appeared to be two burning vehicles, a fire engine and a building which had had its windows burnt out.
Slier added that the rebels have published a video on internet saying they will target the Syrian TV building.  She also said that rebels had warned civilians to stay away from all military checkpoints in the city, prior to the blasts, which were just two minutes apart.
One more blast targeted the Four Seasons Hotel, where the foreign chemical weapons experts are staying, said Slier on her Twitter account. 
While in April 23 people were killed in two explosions. In one of them, the Syrian Prime Minister, Wael Halqi, narrowly escaped with his life.
Nineteen inspectors from the United Nations and Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) are currently working in Syria, investing the use of chemical weapons during the country's ongoing civil war.
They will have to check about twenty sites as another group of twelve international experts is preparing to leave for Syria to speed up the process.
The government began destroying the first chemical weapons last week while in accordance to the US-Russian deal made during Geneva talks last month the elimination program has to be completed by June 30, 2014.
Bombings are a fairly regular occurrence in Damascus, although by no means as regular as in Iraq. One of the latest blast  hit the Russian embassy compound last month, injuring three people.

The illegal drug trade in Panama includes trans-shipment of cocaine to the United States. The 1989 United States invasion of Panama to topple President Manuel Noriega was justified in part by the need to combat drug trafficking. Noriega, the dictator of Panama from 1983 to 1989, had a relationship with the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) from the 1950s. More recently, Mexican cartels such as Sinaloa have been active in Panama.


Although the relationship did not become contractual until 1967, Noriega worked with the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) from the late 1950s until the 1980s.[2] In 1988 the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration indicted him on federal drug charges.[3][4]
The 1988 Senate Subcommittee on Terrorism, Narcotics and International Operations concluded that "The saga of Panama's General Manuel Antonio Noriega represents one of the most serious foreign policy failures for the United States. Throughout the 1970s and the 1980s, Noriega was able to manipulate U.S. policy toward his country, while skillfully accumulating near-absolute power in Panama. It is clear that each U.S. government agency which had a relationship with Noriega turned a blind eye to his corruption and drug dealing, even as he was emerging as a key player on behalf of the Medellín Cartel (a member of which was notorious Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar)." Noriega was allowed to establish "the hemisphere's first 'narcokleptocracy'".[5]
One of the large financial institutions that he was able to use to launder money was the Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI) which was shut down at the end of the Cold War by the FBI. Noriega shared his cell with ex-BCCI executives in the facility that is known as "Club Med".
As a result of the 1989 invasion of Panama by the United States, Manuel Noriega was removed from power, captured, detained as a prisoner of war, and flown to the United States. Noriega was tried on eight counts of drug trafficking, racketeering, and money laundering in April 1992. Noriega's U.S. prison sentence ended in September 2007;[6] pending the outcome of extradition requests by both Panama and France, for convictions in absentia for murder in 1995 and money laundering in 1999, respectively. France was granted its extradition request in April 2010. He arrived in Paris on April 27, 2010,[7] and after a re-trial as a condition of the extradition, he was found guilty and sentenced to seven years in jail in July 2010.

Japan's securities markets increased their volume of dealings rapidly during the late 1980s, led by Japan's rapidly expanding securities firms. There were three categories of securities companies in Japan, the first consisting of the "Big Four" securities houses (among the six largest such firms in the world): Nomura, Daiwa, Nikko, and Yamaichi. The Big Four played a key role in international financial transactions and were members of the New York Stock Exchange. Nomura was the world's largest single securities firm; its net capital, in excess of US$10 billion in 1986, exceeded that of Merrill Lynch, Salomon Brothers, and Shearson Lehman combined. In 1986, Nomura became the first Japanese member of the London Stock Exchange. Nomura and Daiwa were primary dealers in the United States Treasury bond market. The second tier of securities firms contained ten medium-sized firms. The third tier consisted of all the smaller securities firms registered in Japan. Japanese insurance companies became important leaders in international finance in the late 1980s. More than 90% of the population owned life insurance and the amount held per person was at least 50% greater than in the United States. Many Japanese used insurance companies as savings vehicles. Insurance companies' assets grew at a rate of more than 20% per year in the late 1980s, reaching nearly US$694 billion in 1988. The life insurance companies moved heavily into foreign investments as deregulation allowed them to do so and as their resources increased through the spread of fully funded pension funds. These assets permitted the companies to become major players in international money markets. Nippon Life Insurance Company, the world's largest insurance firm, was reportedly the biggest single holder of United States Treasury securities in 1989.

The Tokyo Securities and Stock Exchange became the largest in the world in 1988, in terms of the combined market value of outstanding shares and capitalization, while the Osaka Stock Exchange ranked third after those of Tokyo and New York. Although there are eight stock exchanges in Japan, the Tokyo Securities and Stock Exchange represented 83% of the nation's total equity in 1988. Of the 1,848 publicly traded domestic companies in Japan at the end of 1986, about 80% were listed on the Tokyo Securities and Stock Exchange.
Two developments in the late 1980s helped in the rapid expansion of the Tokyo Securities and Stock Exchange. The first was a change in the financing of company operations. Traditionally large firms obtained funding through bank loans rather than capital markets, but in the late 1980s they began to rely more on direct financing. The second development came in 1986 when the Tokyo exchange permitted non-Japanese brokerage firms to become members for the first time. By 1988 the exchange had sixteen foreign members. The Tokyo Securities and Stock Exchange had 124 member companies in 1990. In 1990, five types of securities were traded on the Tokyo exchange: stocks, bonds, investment trusts, rights, and warrants alone.
Japan's stock market dealings exploded in the 1980s, with increased trading volume and rapidly rising stock prices. The trading recorded by the Nikkei 225 stock average, compiled by the Nihon Keizai Shimbun (Japan Economic Daily), grew from 6,850 in October 1982 to nearly 39,000 in early 1990. During one six-month period in 1986, total trade volume on the Tokyo exchange increased by 250% with wild swings in the Nikkei. After the plunge of the New York Stock Exchange in October 1987, the Tokyo average dropped by 15%, but there was a sharp recovery by early 1988. This was the height of the Japanese asset price bubble, which collapsed in the year 1990, and was followed by the lost decade.
