 Dr. Marc Faber, born February 28, 1946, is an investment analyst and entrepreneur. Faber was born in Zürich and graduated in Geneva, Switzerland, where he raced for the Swiss National Ski Team. He studied Economics at the University of Zurich and, at the age of 24, obtained a Ph.D. degree in Economics..

Faber has a reputation for being a "Contrarian" investor and has been called "Doctor Doom" for a number of years. Faber is a regular speaker on the investment circuit and best known for the Gloom Boom & Doom Report newsletter. He has also written several books.
Marc Faber came into this world on February 28, 1946, in Zürich, Switzerland and graduated from the Zurich University with a P.H. in economics when he was just twenty-four years old. His thinking as he stated in 2007 was that there was an imminent market correction on the horizon as quoted by Fox news in February 2007, and in March of that same year, he claimed that U.S. equities had already been overvalued even less than newer markets. Bloomberg interviewed him in June of ‘08 and sat through his views, which were very bearish in nature, towards many different investment opportunities such as stocks and commodities.

Marc Faber has been very skeptical of the inflationary actions of Fed’s and assumes hyperinflation within the course of the next ten years. This differs slightly from 2008 when he expressed bullishness in the American dollar prior to its recovery and also the anticipation for yen holding - Japanese currency. Faber does not expect recovery until perhaps five or ten years from now.

Along with his publication “Doom and Gloom” (which highlights unusual investment opportunities) Faber has authored many books in his endeavor to shed light on the stock market and provide sound and stable advice towards an ever changing stock market. One of the largest issues many have with technical analysis is linking an understanding of their fundamental "beliefs" with prices on a chart. By fundamental, we include simply the knowledge of any number of known factors, shortages, record buying of coins, people generally positive about the "news," as a few simple examples. There is a need for a hand-to-eye type of association between existing fundamental "beliefs" and current prices.

Beliefs are formed opinions about reality, but not necessarily reality itself. Change the belief, and you change the reality. The current wide-spread belief is that there is a huge shortage in silver, relative to the demand. From that belief an expectation of higher prices arises. The reality is, for whatever reason, price has declined to levels that have surprised almost all who follow the silver market, and gold, as well.

Technical analysis is a measure different from fundamental analysis. We will depart even more by qualifying our approach as a specialized subset of technical analysis. How so? We read price and volume behavior, over time, in the form of developing market activity. It is what one sees on a chart, price ranges, close locations, volume, time factor[s], but no more.

We do not use artificial tools like Relative Strength, Fibonacci, Bollinger Bands, MACD, Elliott Wave, even moving averages. From our view, they are past tense information being imposed upon present tense activity with the expectation of divining the future.

Assad vs Libya & Iraq Deja Vu – By Jason Liosatos

Is Assad a suicidal masochist using chemical weapons, knowing that it would be a dream for Washington and the West, giving them the green light to unleash their wrath upon him fully? Is it not much more likely that the US and Western funded Syrian rebels and Al Qaeda did it knowing that the West would blame Assad and eagerly intervene? Or did the Western governments or Israel themselves do it as an excuse to intervene? And then we have the Saudis and other ingredients to put into the pot of possibilities.

In my opinion one thing is for sure, and that is that there is no way President Assad would use chemical weapons two days after the UN chemical weapons inspectors arrived, and it is no coincidence that these weapons were used at this time, but more likely a co inciding of events for a desired outcome. The word coincidence comes from the word coincide, so it is more likely that we are witnessing a coinciding of events previously planned, unless of course Assad has a hidden agenda that would benefit him by being invaded, and almost certainly killed by the Western military monster. This whole Middle Eastern debacle with Syria, Egypt, Libya, Iraq seems very predictable if we are courageous enough to broaden our vision and see the bigger picture.

Gaddafi in his prophetic speech (video) to the Arab League warned them all that “they killed Saddam and we might be next”, and ironically Assad was in the crowd and laughed when Gaddafi said it. Let us be very cautious in our presumptions about the situation in Syria and Egypt, and be very careful what we believe when we we are being force fed information from the corporate media, and the mainstream media “yes men”, who are easily influenced by the carrot or the stick of the Governments that control them.

Mainstream media is all to often coerced and conditioned, like a performing chimp, to serve the governments agendas, and to force feed the public Foie Gras style, stuffing them daily, often preparing them to accept the future scenarios, which if not prepared for, that same public might rebel against. We must be very mindful not to fall into our usual apathy at this critical juncture, because we could very easily fall into the Libya or Iraq trap, of chemical weapons and WMD fear and hysteria, the well used card by government, which helped them to kill over 1 million innocent people, and further their sociopathic agenda to take over that region on their psychotic march to Iran and beyond. - Jason Liosatos.

A former Marine Corps Colonel who was stationed in Fallujah and trained Iraqi soldiers warns that the Department of Homeland Security is working with law enforcement to build a "domestic army," because the federal government is afraid of its own citizens.

Referencing signs in the crowd which read "More Mayberry, Less Fallujah," the Colonel spoke of how he didn't even have armored vehicles when he was stationed in Fallujah.

Martino's role as a Ministry of Defense coordinator was to command, train and equip the Iraqi Army, noting that he helped do everything he could "to make it as strong as possible," but that "Homeland Security would kick their butts in a week."

Stressing that it was unlawful and unconstitutional to use US troops on American soil, the Colonel warned, "What's happening here is we're building a domestic military," adding that police are now "wearing the exact same combat gear that we had in Iraq, only it was a different color."

Martino warned that the DHS was following military tactics by, "pre-staging gear and equipment" in order to build a "domestic army" while shrinking the US military "because the government is afraid of its own citizens."

In yet another example of political suppression overtaking Missouri, a startling video shows the Missouri Highway Patrol tackling and arresting peaceful protestors for refusing to leave a public area.

Two protestors were arrested, including one wearing an Infowars Tyranny Response Team t-shirt.

No less than seven police officers and state troopers can be seen surrounding the protestors who were the only pedestrians in the immediate area.

In the video, an officer claimed that the protestors were "causing accidents" by standing on a bridge sidewalk which was barricaded several feet from the traffic lane.

"That's not true. There's been no accidents," one of the protestors responded.

"There's also a First Amendment issue here, too," another protestor added. "We don't protest [only] when the St. Charles Police tells us we can protest."

"We have a First Amendment right."

The protestors even offered to move to the side of the bridge as a compromise.

That didn't satisfy the police.

I believe that the law is a poor reflection of justice and therefor I disagree with many things that police officers enforce. However there is understandably a need for some of our laws, but some officers take it to far. They become power hungry. For example, one officer tried to ban me from an entire city. How could he even do that. lol. It was ridiculous especially because we had done nothing wrong. At that time I was working as a canvasser and was going door to door getting people to sign up for a news paper subscription. During the winter it gets dark earlier and people get a little sketched out at the door. That is not my fault and I am a nice person that never tries to push sales to hard. You must understand that I am just trying to make a living and pay rent like most other people. If knocking on doors is what puts food on the table then I'll do it. This police officer was on a power trip though. He said we were dicks and that we couldn't come back into the city. He had no authority to do that so of course we went back.

As Kurt Nimmo reported in 2009, the Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC) distributed a law enforcement report entitled The Modern Militia Movement which instructed police to be on the lookout for people displaying "political paraphernalia" such as Gadsden flags and Ron Paul bumper stickers.

MIAC, a federal law enforcement information sharing center more commonly known as a fusion center, described itself as a "mechanism to collect incident reports of suspicious activities" in order to "identify potential trends or patterns of terrorist or criminal operations within the state of Missouri."

Unfortunately the overpass incident adds to the growing trend of free speech shut-down in the Show-Me-State.
